NO DRIFTING for the people wanting to go on the tail of the dragon, definately not worth it so save that for events. everyone there is there to have a good time, i went with a friend not long ago with some mr2 guys and it was awesome. main thing is to STAY IN YOUR LANE. dont even attempt passing. the road is too dangerous and there are a TON of people there to enjoy it, not just to drive fast, but others just wanting to cruise.

i was just talking about it since i know theres a bunch of us on ga240sx wanting to drive it, and thought maybe we would do that early morning and then after it go to greenville for the meet. i havent posted about it on there yet, but i will sometime.

noone really said anything about drifting. torry and a few others even pointed out that we arent drifting because it is too difficult all the while being too dangerous.

I may know where one is at in Orangeburg, SC at a Junk yard named C&R. Not sure if they still have it but I know they only wanted like 500 bucks for the motor and ecu. the'll even pull it out for you for free. Might wanna look em up and give em a call. don't forget to check with local speed shops with so many people swaping everyother nissan engine seems like every time I go to to one there is a collection of KAs in the back but they usually want too much for em.

If you set up a Dragon meet and a Greenville meet at the same time, you are goin to kill one or the other, or more likely both. People from NC aren't gonna drive down to SC just to come back up to NC.

Sure they will.

Although, I do agree with you that it might be better to just have one meeting place. And an event always draws a crowd. We could find a park or something closer to Deal's Gap, and just all meet there.

But either way, whatever is planned, I plan on attending. I'm driving from Atlanta regardless anyway.

Late October through Early April

Weather can be a problem most of the time between late October and early April. There can be good riding days in this time frame, but you can encounter snow, ice, cold rain, and sandy roads. We have seen snow as early as Halloween and as late as April 15.

mmm well we could still have the gville meet on the 18th and then hold the dragon's tail meet around june/july... i'd hate for everyone to travel and then it snow usually around mid-march in gville its a lot warmer than in the mountains (usually like 65 by then)
