The mileage on the car that it came out of was 17x,xxx, and shortly before it was pulled compression read 155-160 on all 4, with the throttle closed and motor cold.

I'm asking $500 for the whole motor set(engine, transmission, wiring, and ecu) but I am open to reasonable offers and am willing to seperate the engine and transmission.

Not dead yet, but I'm working on it, ask again in about 40 years. In the mean time, you want to help me change the injectiors and put in some arp head studs in my truck?

The most effective way to do it is to get a complete jdm dash harness and then dig out every thing that goes with the climate control, then you just have to put power to the right places on the harness, repin the plug for the mode door motor, and plug every thing in. The good thing is that s14 dcc wiring digrams are easy to find, just go find a copy of the every country but the usa s14 fsm and it will have every thing you need to figure out the wiring.

Anyone here have 2 5-zigen bronze rims that are 8.5 wide or smaller by 18" that they would like to trade for 2 of my 9.5" X 18" with a 35mm offset?

hello all, I'm just checking in. Happy New Year and all that good stuff. Bought another s13 hatch from someone that thought the engine was blown, turned out to only be the starter I'm debating on whether or not to resume my 240 project. My current hatch is a 90 auto and it's in really rough shape, I'll try to get some pics up soon. Check out my poll if your up late like me and don't have anything else to do.

Alright, I went over to take some pics. Here's a few for your enjoyment. I just don't know if I'd be better off buying another shell with the amount of rust removal/repair that this car needs. Didn't feel like getting on the wet ground again to snap photos of the underside, but its not too much better under there either. The good thing is that it runs now and I do have the option of selling.

Oh and by the way, the steering wheel does NOT have a wheel cover....that's MOLD!!

Also, does anyone have a suggestion of how I can get the key out. The key release button is stuck or whatever and it's holding my key hostage.

Hey guys, I have a 1991 Hatch.

One problem I'm facing right now is that there's a terrible scraping/grinding noise when the car is in gear and taking off, but the noise is gone once the car is in neutral and coasting. I don't know exactly, maybe something to do with the clutch throwout bearings or something similar. If anyone knows, please let me know!

That's a really nice shell you've got there, definitely a great candidate for my RB swap project. If you still have it at the end of spring check back w/ me and we'll see. I may end up giving this hatch to my niece so she can temporarily get to college.

It seems like it's gonna be a big headache to do the 5spd conversion and get the body stuff worked out on my present hatch. I'm sure $800 is pretty close to what I'd be paying a body shop to fix the rusty spots.

I'm about to move @ the end of the month. Once I get settled in my new spot I'll be able figure how long it will take me to save the cash. GL w/ the sale though between now and then.
