ok Jordan and Luke i checked out your videos and well even though it wasnt the smartest thing in the world im glad to see yall are going at a pretty good pace and not pushing your cars to the point of being crazy. yall just remember to be safe out there cause i dont wanna hear about yall wrecking or getting a ticket. Jordan you can go to the scca website and it tells you how you can get involved and they have the rule books so you can make sure you have your car set up right. i know last year they only had like one event here and it was in summerville at the high school in the parking lot. i have a buddy in charleston that used to race in the scca autox and i can get you in contact with him if you would like.

i really like that side view picture of my car

everyone that i go up there with knows their limits, and dont push beyond them. we also try to follow those unwritten rules like not crossing the double yellow (luke - ), no passing of course, dont go too fast on the straights etc.

luke - you are slow jk ill have to take you for a ride sometime

yeah man i showed my girlfriend the videos and she thought yall were crazy then she wanted to go to the store so then i took her and now she thinks im crazy too. lol. so i told her just wait untill i get my 240 back on the road. anyways good news im buying some parts from gueido that will help me in getting her back on the road and im looking at buying another 240 because my accord is falling apart and i need another car in case she breaks down. if anybody knows where i can get some cv axles for a 86 honda accord for cheap please let me know.

Thanks Gregg, I'll update my contact list. Wuz up everyone, just checking in to see what's good. Videos are pretty cool, but watch yourselves. I found a pretty decent stretch of road today that I would love to do some high speed runs on. I was our near Eastover doing some deliveries for work and there's a good 5 miles of road that I wouldn't mind tearing up. My wife recently found employment after being between jobs which means I'll be able to start putting more funds to my project!!

I'll keep everyone posted with milestones.

well gregg, I may be able to help you. Very soon I may have a black single cam 5 speed S13 SE hatch for sale, lowered on skunk 2 springs, probably have 17 inch wheels, shark nose bumper, wingless hatch, really good interior, runs strong, but clutch is a little weak, body is good, but could use a little paint up front, and I'm gonna ask like $1500.

I hope this thing sells quick when/if I get it. I need something to sell quick for a change.

cool deal James i will keep that in mind. am i right in thinking its the cv axles on my accord thats going bad because in a strait line it takes off no problem but if im turning and taking off at the same time its like it doesnt want to go and i hear alot of popping and kind of a grinding noise and i also hear a grinding noise and popping with a little bit of power loss when im turning at speed.

i would say yes its the cv axles.

anybody heard of racing logic coilovers? i might be getting a pretty good deal on those or some jic fla-2's if the guy will ever send me some pics. i might end up waiting another week and getting some stances though.

Hey Gregg,Yep, sound like axles... pretty cheap fix.. probably about $60 per side.. do'em both.. only takes about 45 mins per side.. but you may need to have alignment done after.... by the way you have mail..

Wait and get the stances, and get them with the z32 rear mounts, then I'll swap you for my s13 rear mounts.

buy some Megans and call it a daymine came in yesterday. goin on today.. ill have a review if your interested butgo for the JIC'si saw a set of Racing Logic for sale somewhere for like 1600.. thats about all i know about me.. that their expensive.

i can get some for 650, used for 6-8k miles. they had a group buy on zilvia but i dont think hardly anybody bought them. all i really know is that they are from austrailia. i might wait and get the stances, i really dont wanna spend that much money though, i kinda wanna buy some new wheels.

I have heard good things about JIC coils, SCC uses them on their project silvia. If I remember correctly, they have separate height and suspension travel adjustments. IMO those type of coils are the best for 240's, I believe A'pexi has some that operate similarly.

the racing logics are like that as well, where you can adjust the ride height by the lower bracket or adjust the height/spring reload too. they also have all the typical features that most coilovers have too.

i think they might be rebadged ksports, if so i dont think i want em.

Doesn't the design look some what like Ksport coilovers?just like Megan and Apexi outsorce some of their coils to another company.. it seems racing logic does the same thing

the resemblance is uncanny..

my vote.. is skip themif their anything like ksport.but then again their are ppl who are satisfied with themso the choice is ultimately up to you
