What is the drop on those? I really need something in the ballpark of the Sportlines(2.2" and 2.1")

James, i also have a pair (2) of 18" tires around here somewhere. I'll have to check tomorrow on the dimensions. I do know they have near perfect tread left.

John, email sent

2" front and 1.9" rear. That's what their website says. I'm not sure how much they actually lowered my car but it was disgustingly high before and now it's not bad at all.

Here's the website that has them for so cheap. http://www.undergroundmotorspo....html

I don't think i have any pictures with them on. i should take some. the tires i have right now are 60's though so my car still looks a little high. I have stock struts in the rear and some new but still basic struts in the front. I'm planning on getting coilovers one of these days so this setup is just to hold me over until i have more money or my stock struts blow out.

Yea. I dont think i'll get coilovers unless its the last thing i do to the car. I may end up just fixing the Axis rims and then selling them for parts $$

Yeah $85 does sound good, I may look into those for my hatch project initially.

I think I'd just sell them like they are unless you're pretty sure you can fix them well enough that someone won't crash and die with them on their car.

Oh im quite sure i can fix them. The dent can be fixed at a Wheel and Tire shop and if my uncle has a welder that will weld aluminum then i KNOW i can.

The problem with just getting the springs replaced is i dont have a spring compressor at hand. If i did then i'd knock it out on a weekend. Anyone have a solution?

Pat i sent the email with my addy. if james doesnt want those tires you have then let me know how much you want for them because i havent put the rims on my accord because one rim has a tire with crappy tread. funny thing is that right after i bought those rims from you is that all my friends are wanting to buy my 17"s that i took off the accord and put on the 240, the freaking idiots i have as friends dont realize i have two cars because im always driving the accord because the 240 is my project car.

Pat, autozone rents spring compressors for free. Just make sure you get a strut compressor, not a spring compressor. Just to save you a trip back to autozone after you find out one doesn't work.

What size tires are those Pat?

Damn it. I knew i forgot something. Sorry, i've been really busy lately with school, work, hockey and then trying to keep the family happy by spending time with them. I'll check for sure tomorrow since i have nothing going on.

Well thanks for the heads up. Definately would have sucked having to make the trip back, especially with the cars suspension taken a part in the middle of the day

they're both spring compressors, but a spring compressor goes inside the spring and has a screwy thing through the middle. It's sort of shaped like an I. this won't work for you because the strut goes through the middle of the spring.

a strut compressor is actually 2 pieces and they attach to each side of the spring rather than go through the middle. The ones I rent from autozone require an 18 mm socket to crank them down.

bought a new radiator, its should be on the way, we bought it from herehttp://www.pitstopparts.com/st...de=NI

we ordered one off of ebay first and they screwed us over. we ordered it waited like 3 days and then called them(mexicans answered the phone) and they told us they didn't have the radiator.http://stores.ebay.com/Car-Parts-Wholesalethis is the place that screwed us over.

nevermind I just looked it up, I wish I'd known you were buying a new one, I thought you were pulling it off your parts car. Koyo radiators are $300 and cool better than stock ones. They are good to have if you plan on running boost. Guiedo got an offbrand one off ebay for $200, but it looks identical other than the logo. They are made of aluminum and are way thicker and hold more liquid than a stock one.

Hello everybody. I am new to the forums and I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I live just north of Spartanburg, SC. I don't know what else to say. I will be pretty active on the site. I am about to buy a 96 240sx and that will be my project car for a while. I have been to school for auto mechanics so if you have any questions I am very happy to answer them. I hope you will welcome me into your embrace like a friend, Thank You.

Hey James, I finally got to playing with the kit at the shop... The s14 hub OD is 66.06 mm.... We have a set of rings (plastic) for ya... $2.10 per ring (plus tax). I will send you a set when I get a chance... Just to confirm... the ID on the rims you have is 73MM right?.. double check with Redemption again before I send them out... I'll shoot them in the mail to ya on Monday if the numbers are correct... Looks like around $9.00 with tax for the set...
