Getting adapters made by someone then using SBC mounts. Also getting the trans member made but I have to weld it together where I want the shifter to line up.

you can find motors for cheap and I was going to piece on together. But finding complete motorsets with the T56 is next to impossible. I paid 4K shipped after I had about 8 motorsets fall though. I basically said screw it. I did talk the guy down, he was originally asking $4500 plus shipping.

Also getting the newer 01 motor(350hp). I got the LS6 intake, possibility I have the LS6 block, upgraded clutch hydraulics, better ecu programming, better rod bolts, and some other small stuff.

Thanks for calling and sharing the news of your purchase dirtbag. Now I just need to get up there and check it out and pick up that ignitor too. I can see I'm going to have to sell a kidney to pay for upgrades to my SR just to keep up with you.

Well I have a small update, started assembling my subframe after I cleaned it up, primed and painted it. This would have been done awhile ago but the ebay aluminum bushings were way to wide to hammer in. I had to grind off over 1mm all the way around and still took a great deal to pound them in. I figure I could save some money purchasing them on ebay, I mean how hard is it to screw up a rear solid aluminum bushing. The car should be rolling this weekend if everything goes right. I should be able to spend alot more time on the car, hopefully.

Cleaned it with brake cleaner. Then wire wheeled it and roughed it up with sandpaper. Primed it with spray paint, used high temp spray paint gloss black then high temp spray paint clear.

When its done or at least ready for testing i demand a dyno im thinking that a ls1 would be fun as well but that that leaves me at a predicament... Keep the RB26 or get a ls1. for the sexy coupe btw
