Yeah I did, if I was to do it again I would get a hole saw as close to the collar size and drill it out next time. Burning them made it much messier and took awhile.thenameismatt wrote:Did you just soak the bushings in something flammable then light them up?
Cars looking good man
I have some Z32 rear calipers in the garage sitting the last year and a Z32 brake master and some ATE super blue brake fluid. Also SPL stainless steel lines. Thinking about going with a c&c hand brake.27RB240 wrote:Nice job once again!! Its really comming along great...What route are you going to go for your rear brakes????

I'm trying for early May. There is alot that needs to be done.eds13 wrote:looks good nick! i prolly should have replaced my subframe bushings, but i didnt. i just threw some spacers and collars on it and called it a day. anywho, when do you hope to be driving it?
Its very easy. Take off the brackets on the front of the subframe. Then take off the 4 big main bolts. Then disconnect the ebrake cables and rear driveshaft bolts to the differential. Then disconnect the exhaust and it drops straight down.ilovecoupes wrote:

Not a CA, not a SR, not a RB.mrzabala wrote: *Coughs ...ca.... Cough* Hehehe. Great choice. I might plan on going the same route with the megasquirt once I get the engine but the engine should be tested first with the stock equipment for a couple months. Keep us posted. Great work so far!
