Mr. 2000. What are the HP goals with your build up? Just curious.

about 350whp @ 15-18psi, and around 500whp @ 25-28psi probably.. I don't know exactly what everything will come out to though.

So...

I just ordered Ksport Coilovers, SPL subframe collars, and some RUCA's... so I should be able to put that stuff on next weekend...next suspension stuff after that will be Sway bars, tie rods, tension rods and new bushings. Today i'm going to put in my s14 seatbelts, rear strut bar, and hopefully repaint the inside of my hatch.. it doesn't look to great where all the sound deadning was. I'll make sure to take lots of pictures of everything along the way and post them.

haha.. I forgot about this thread.. well, I guess I'll give an update...

I got most my suspension and such done.. I got some KSport Coilovers, Tein Tie Rods/Ends, Suspension Tech. Sway Bars, Adjustable RUCA's, some other stuff I can't think of lol... I also got me a set of s14 SE wheels, and 15x7 +17 mesh Wheels .. all 5 lug for my 5 lug swap... so that's pretty much where i'm at..

now for the engine... I decided to do a mild boost on my stock engine, about 12psi, but using good stuff.. 550cc injectors, z32 mafs, t3/t4 50 trim, etd manifold, tuned ecu, safc II, etc... this way I can get used to a turbo, have fun, and I can build my other KA on the side, be able to swap it in, and turn up the boost...

thanks for the welcome, NwN is pratically dead now since theyv gone to "paid membership", im sure you know.. lol so i've had to find another place to spend my countless hours.

Im hoping to get my (dohc)KA-T project going, was planning on using my tax returns to get what i need, but like lonnie.. I think Im going to upgrade my suspension a lil first, hoping to order some MR Street Coils, adjustable RUCA's, and tien tie rods. For my KA-T kit, Ive got some money coming to me, from the kid who bought my VR6 GTi, and I also have a set of 4x100 Volk Racing Wheels for sale, so between those two I should be able to finish my budget build. Ive already got my RevHard Mani here, so Im thinking, Turbonetics T3 Super60, Tial 38mm, FMIC, 370cc Injectors, SAFC-II, Walbro Pump, Megan Ajustable FPR, just off the top of my head. anways, its too early to be this close to the computer screen.. LOL -andRu.

you are going to need more then 550cc injectors those wont take your much more then 400ish. get your self some 72#, 750cc or something

ehh... I can do that.. I didn't know if 740's would be too low for only 12psi.. but I guess you probably can't "underwork" your injectors..

I'm going to start buying stuff here in like a week.. so I need to decide.. i'll probably order my fuel stuff first... walbro fuel pump, nismo fpr, injectors, z32 mafs, safc II.. then, whenever I get my taxes back, i'll order the manifold, turbo, wastegate.. and get a downpipe fabbed up, and inncooler piping made.. send the ecu off for a tune.. I should find a spare one so I don't have much downtime...I'm hoping by the end of march, early april i'll be boosting..

I assume that suspension is gone? If not, I'd take the whole thing. My coilovers are beyond broken

I buy all my stuff off ebay... usually always the best price.. got my wastegate for $194 shipped... just make sure the part numbers match up, and the seller has good feedback..

I think you should ditch that boost controller and get a better one. If you want to stay with a manual I reccomend a Turbo XS HPBC or their dual stage controller, you will have less spikes and better control with those.

what are you basing this off of? I have seen a 550whp, and 300whp+ running this boost controller. I don't see why I would have a problem with it, and how a Turbo XS would be better.... unless you acually have had this controller, and had problems with it?
