My new clean '92 Coupe

Finally have a shell I like well enough to put all my parts onto. Since I've gone through 3 in the time of putting all this together.=) Don't mind all the other cars...fathers day get together.

Actually iirc it has 170,000 miles. It has a lot of time invested in cleaning it all up. The motor will be equally as blingin'=) Polishing the front cover, valve cover, my custom intake manifold will be shiny already, also the turbo housing. Should be really nice, I also have a nice plug wire shield that is mirror polished too.

You know surprisingly I think the hardest part is cleaning things.

Ripping apart the suspension and motors of these things is actually quite easy.(as far as this stuff goes)

I'll document putting back together all of it, as to make it easier for others who are playing with this stuff.

Nice plans! Report how the JGS WG and BOV work, I will probably get them eventually myself. Instead of the whiteline sways, you might want to check out the Progress bars. They come with pillowball endlinks for less than you can get the whitelines+SPL pillowball endlinks.

When you already have Whiteline bars, you run Whiteline.=)

If I was buying new, I agree the Progress are better.

I've been happy with everything I've purchased from Lance (JGS) so I'm sure they will both perform as expected.=) I will though review them when I get it all back together.

These are pics of the suspension on the old red car (in background), much dirtier.=( New front lower control arms(with poly bushings) were added to this, as well as rear that were boxed on the bottom and powdercoated black.(with poly bushings)

Yup I think I bought one of the last sets you guys had. Wish I would've gotten the Pro ones so they matched the rest, what I get for being cheap for once. I'll have to settle for powdercoating it black. (clashes with the D2's)

Well I would, but they are at the powdercoaters. So as soon as I get them back I'll do that. It's basically a plate that is welded across the bottom side, with a hole cut in it for the sway bar mount. They are much stronger afterwards.

Very nice. The rear suspension looks so good, I didnt even recognize it. Are there any stock pieces left to upgrade??

The lower control arms need to upgraded, which I'll do eventually. As of now I'm to busy with the motor to put more into the suspension for awhile. The lowers do have ES bushings in them though, but I would love a set of SPL LCA's.

The rear subframe is all put together, besides the LCA's. Hopefully they will come back soon, so I can finish. I'll probably throw on a old set in the mean time. So I can finish up the motor and drop it in.
