Yep, all the fear and power come when they pull out a real gun.Loki wrote: but at night it looks real enough. All the fear and power comes from the anticipation.
I've thought about, but I think its legit. Either way, my car was recently used in a crime, meaning it was, at that point, in one piece.Uberck wrote:so some dude named "dan" called you w/ a blocked number and said he sees your car? people are ****ing with you man
The problem with that is that he has a prepaid phone, so he cannot receive calls, only send them out. I have been trying to call his house phone, but it does not ring, and the mailbox is full. I'm worried to know if he is safe or not. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if he was hurt while trying to help me out.frapjap wrote:Hey Ted- been following the story, but had a suggestion for you.
If you dial *67 on your phone, it'll show you the number of said blocked caller.
*69 will also call back the last received call, but leave you without the number.
So police can't trace the crime to them but instead visit you first since it is your car thus giving them time to run/hide/flee the country.S13Teddy wrote:Well I dont even know what kind of crime it was, but either way, why would you use (a) a stolen car (b) a noticeable car (c) the car who belongs to someone who happens to have a lot of friends on the worlds largest Nissan forum
Yes, they are.Crunkrich wrote:Thieves are some of the lowest ****s in society.
Ok so Lemme get this straight...S13Teddy wrote:Ok I just got off the phone.
What makes me the most angry is that I told them that I have all of the info to back up the fact that this guy stole my car and I asked if they can investigate it somehow. They responded that it wasn't the crime of the century and that if it turns up then it turns up, and if it doesnt, then too bad...
I mean. I know (95%) sure its this guy, and I would really hate for them to not make haste on this and let this jackasss get away.
She told me to wait 1 or 2 more weeks... I was like "NO! Don't you realize that in 1 or 2 weeks that car is as good as gone?!" She was like, "Well I understand but..."
This whole situation is frustrating when you know whats going on and can't do sh1t about it because even the police aren't a huge help.
Sad but apparently very true.duffman1278 wrote:That sucks, but you are in LA and you know those cops could care less. Hope it works out

Nobody watches out for the little guy anymore. America is becoming more and more corrupt as we speak. The police officer that handled the report when my car was broken into LITERALLY told me, "You'll never see your stuff again, tough luck kid."1unar3clipse wrote:sounds like the cops are working with the thieves.
