Yes, this is not a joke. I think my car is totaled. It will be decided tomorrow whether it is saveable. It wasn't my fault, just know that. A jeep libeety pulled into my lane (the right lane, when she had a left lane to pull into with NO ONE IN) and decided not to push on the gas. So I slammed on the brakes and slid into her. Scratched up her bumper and put a small hole in it. My car, well, is fooked. It isnt the actual front front end, but the front drivers side corver. I need new hood, bumper, fender, headlight, foglight, and corner. It *might* not be totaled, but it is going to be CLOSE. I am sad, depressed, pissed, and a whole lot of other things that I dont even know what are. I just dont know what to feel. My friend got into a wreck almost EXACTLY LIKE THIS YESTERDAY, ON THE SAME ROAD. *sigh* If they dont total it out, I am going to try and maybe put a strawberry face on it, but I doubt it. Probably just a brand new OEM s14 front end. And no, no shark eye front end for me. I want the Greddy front end lip, and possibly those nice glass headlights and corners.

It would sound like it is my fault, wouldn't it. But it isn't. I have talked to many cops and they say even if you are going the speed limit (I was), if someone pulls out like that, it is their fault. It is good I have witenesses saying they saw the jeep pull out and I had nothing to do BUT hit her.

Some insurance companies hav e policies that if your car is older than 5 years you have to go with used parts. May suck when you are trying to get your car fixed and looking good.

That's horrible! You just got the manual swap too! Hopefully the Jeep is at fault. If do then you have nothing to worry about, totalled or otherwise you can fix or replace your car (though it was a beauty). Good luck!

Sorry Ben. I totaled one of my 240's a couple months ago, and I know how you feel. I cried for the first time in a long time. I had just bought the car 3 days before, so you can sort of understand why I cried.

Damn man, brings back sad memories of my first 240 and how I totaled it. I really do know how you feel...it SUCKED huge donkey balls. I was 17 too, but I found a better car afterwards (whitey)....soo it may turn out for the better. Never know.

In VA if you rear end someone it is 99% your fault, so Iam sure you will get a ticket. If so wave bye bye to your license, if your state is as bad as VA, 1 wreck = auto 90 days suspension for ppl under 18.

There is no wreck = suspension in the state of KY,as long as he had ins. and no DUI/DWI or AI were involved.It will be considered Ben's fault as far as the Ins. companys are concerned though.Rear end = you should have had time to stop(thats what they say any how).
