My 95 240 build. I'm a Newb! Lots of pics. SO NO 56K!

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum. I have been a fan of drifting for a long time and a fan of the 240's. I finally lucked up about a month and a half ago and got one. A week later I got another one. So I figured I would post up pics of my work in progress and get to talking to some of yall because I know I'll be on this site alot searching for answers... anyways here's the pics so far.

I plan to get a body kit. KA to go back in it. A set of 18 x 8.5f and 18 x 9.5r from my buddy. he has 4 240's coilovers. and paint it white.

I plan to drop a v8 in my other one and run a set of weld drag wheels. small cowl hood and put a cage in it.

The SRT is kinda stock lol.

As far as performance.It's got Stage 1 ecu, exhaust work, K & N Filter, Kinetics WGA, MBC, Wires, Plugs, Mopar clutch and BOV. I'm sure theres something I'm not thinking of. It has run a few 13.2's on street tires spinning and wheel hop

sounds like you got your head on straight with what you want. I've got a few friends with STG2 and STG3 SRT's and a few with 50 trims and one with a 35R another is doign a 4088 to one. So i know all bout the SRT4 ****. there pretty nice, i'd pick one up for a DD.

my buddy did a mild build on his KA24DE and got 530hp out of it.. so I cant wait to do a build on the KA..

The paint I used for the engine bay and trunk was a heat resistant industrial gloss black from MRO. turned out nice.

I would stay away from the cowl hood as much as possible...But check out Hybrids section, plenty of 240sx-V8 coverage....

Thanks for those links above.. I could stay on line for a week just looking at 240's...... Ima keep it a zenki... My buddy has a flat black 96 with the kouki front. It's growing on me but I think I'll keep it a zemki....

it's a slow work in progress.. parts are a little more expensive for it.. but the rear end was completely rebuilt a couple weekends ago with new brakes, bearings and bushing throughout. and the front end was completed this weekend with all new bushings, bearing, spindles, shocks and converted to disc brakes... should be rolling this weekend for the first time in just over 2 years.. then off to the body shop for the 1/4's

I just won my KA off ebay.. hope it's as good as they claimed.. atleast i'll be a step closer to getting the new baby on the road... now i gotta search for other parts at a price i can afford..

As far as I know I still need a intake with MASS...Clutch...Flywheel...a few misc hoses... maybe I'll luck up.... here's some pics of the KA

I'm not to sure on all the parts he used... but it was ARP studs, 8.5:1 pistons, rods, mild cams and he ported his head and intake himself and slapped on a gt30 i beleive... got it tuned and it put down 530hp.. he said he has a little under 3gs in everything...

After looking at the Kouki thread I'm seriously thinking about converting it when i get my body kit.... they look so good..
