+1 IMO Kouki is definitly the way to go when modding a S14...But you can always go S15

Good looking clean Zenki's are one in a million (or atleast that is what I have noticed on NICO Club)If you have a clean Zenki then people really take notice...But at the end of the day its your wallet and your decision

After looking at the Kouki thread I'm seriously thinking about converting it when i get my body kit.... they look so good..
a rebuilt ka with forged internals, cams with a gt30 for under 3G's!!!

just a little update.. got the KA in the car.. and converting the engine from auto to man. and bolting up the s13 transmission. should be in tomorrow.. my ? is will not having the crank position sensor on the s13 transmission hurt the performance or just throw a cell?

And i had some other ?'s but I done forgot... I got to find a MAF so i can try to crank the car one day this week...

then it'll be finishing some body work and paint and then some drifting down my drive way until i get her on the road...

just to let you know, if you run an s13 trans you'll need an s14 speed sensor or your cluster wont read correctly

i have the s-14 speed sensor... but ima hold off on putting the crank position sensor in.. im so close to getting it running that ima hold off on things that aren't needed right now....

I picked up a s-13 KA24DE complete with 5spd transmission, kyb gr2 struts, a aerospeed strut brace, and the two amber bumper lights for 325.00...

And i got the kouki front for 100.00 plus my other 5spd parts out of my other s14 and my Zenki front end... I been so lucky with this car..

yeap. like i said, i been lucky. I should have the front end on this weekend and hopefully i will finish getting it all painted. I was thinking of going with silver now though or charcoal gray. my mind is always changing.

but as soon as it's drivable I plan to lift it back up and start re-storing everything under the chassis and replacing bushings and recoating with undercoat.

I'll post pics this weekend.

I've run into some problems...

Some of the wiring was messed up by the previous owner. I have another harness and I've got the main stuff right.. And I put the starter in to try and turn the engine over but i get nothing. just a click. kinda like the battery is dead but it's not. So im trying to de-bug it and find a FSM online.

thats my homie.....

anybody know what could be wrong?

here's my issue... the stater selinoid clicks but it does'nt spin over. I tried a second starter and its the same way. I'm thinking maybe theres another fuse im over looking.

And the only thing that is not pluged in is the MAF because i dont have one.. could that be shutting the whole system down?

Those are pretty weak and easily breaks off in old KA24DE engines with so many miles. When I took off mine the thing was rubbed off deep.
