Ok, well this is looking not so good for me. There's bad and good, first the bad, I may not make it to the meet. I find this especially bad because Wess and I were the ones that organized this meet, and both of us are saying we may not show. I will explain though, this is my good news. I sold my car today, I am no longer the proud owner of an 89 accord and am now the proud owner of $1,850. I should be able to go 240 hunting in a month or so now that I have this out of the way. So, If I do happen to be absent on the 31st, you have my apologies. I'll try and make it, but I'm not sure, so we'll see. Does anyone have an update on whether they'll be able to swing it or not?

Is anyone going to BW3's saturday? I can show up for awhle if some people are going to show up, but I will have to leave about 7:30. But if there isn't going to be anyone there, then I'm not going to drive all the way to the northside and then back south. Let me know people.

It's that time of year

Time to start talking about our monthly Indy area meets now that the weather is improving. Let's get some ideas thrown out.

I was thinking since we have this wonderful track in Clermont (IRP) that we could do that a couple times this summer maybe. We could precede it with a BBQ or something.

What other ideas do you people have?

Alright.. So what do we wanna do.....?

Maybe it would be best to have a quasi-meet sometime so we (Bud, Andy, Ryan, Cliff, Darryn, and myself, and whoever would want to be involved) to decide what might be best rather than try and do it over the internet...

I was thinking we should corroborate with the louisville people, so like we go to their meet one month, and then they come to ours, etc etc...

I have a few ideas.

1. BBQ has always been good for our crew.2. IRP is a great idea; I may work with the WRX and VW club (Chris I need to talk to you).3. Maintenance day. We can pick a Saturday that is open to work on our cars at my garage/driveway.4. Indians Game5. Help Andy when he races at Putnam Park. Work as his pit crew and support him while he races.6. Participate in a local SCCA auto cross

I would also be down for a meet in Cincinati. We can work with the people down there.

Those all sound like great ideas. I'm down with whatever everyone wants to do. Maybe Wes, has the right idea, to sit down and work out some things. It is usually easier to plan some things in advance when talking iot over rather than trading messages.

I also agree, those sound like good ideas. Like I've said before I'm not very familiar with Indy so I'm not sure what all there is to do up there but all of those things sound great. BBQ sounds good, especially to me since it's a little more cost effecient than eating out and I'll be broke from now on. LoL

I am down for IRP and a BBQ. I know that Muncie has a track that has test and tunes on Saturdays rather than Tuesday nights. I am not sure how good or bad the track is but it might be worth the trip. Just let me know when and where you guys want to meet to set up the meets!

I love it, I absolutely love it. I know this is the meets thread but I have to let all of you know that after having my car at home for less than 24 hrs, I'm 100% pleased with it. I am now the proud new owner of an Aspen Pearl White 97 S14, base model, 5 spd, 106k, maintained well by its previous owners, and I am really thrilled to finally own the nissan that I've been wanting. I really understand why there's so many with an appreciation for these cars. They're Great. :-)
