2002 Nissan Maxima GLE w/ Factory Navigation.

Thanks for having a great group I am an old man (41) by yall's standards and the Maxima has plenty of power and performance for me.

I do have a couple of silly (and I can hear the pffts, flames and the sighs already) is there a sub cult of tuners that tries to increase fuel economy? I do realize that doing some of the perfomance tricks will increase MPG just trying to figure out which ones are going to be most cost effective.I drive about 25000 miles per year.Yea its a blast to stand in the gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I have kids to feed!

The other question is what does a RSB do to the ride, I have issues with "chine walking" is what we called it in boat racing 20 years ago, it seems if the road is grooved the front end likes to track one way then the other it is minimal, but my old vehicle was a Ford F150 4.9L I6 with 150 HP and 260 ft/lb of torque and drove very very straight.

Thanks for the replies in advance!

Well, here it goes...

I'm new to the Maxima community; I just bought my Max about 3.5 weeks ago. I'm from Boston but currently living in New Jersey (in the military). Below are the specs on my ride and look forward to having fun with this beauty....

Here is a cell phone pic of it when I drove it off the lot:

Hi I just want to say I am glad that I stumpled on to this site its been a big help. Thank you Guys!I own a 2007 Maxima, 3.5 SL, Automatic, Silver, and I live in New York. Has anyone with that model year come across the same problem that I am having? I always smell anti-freeze while I am driving and when I just got done driving and the car is parked. I told the tech at Nissian and they couldn't find any leaks they said they did a pressure test. I also look everytime I smell the smell and I can't find and leaks either the level in the coolant reserve bottles is on min and when I take the cap of the radiator the coolant is where it should be. The temperature gauge is always in normal range. But I get the smell even if I only drove the car a few blocks. I bought the car new in 2007 and it only has 3400 miles on it. I take it to the dealer for and oil change and service every 3 months. I would appreciate any help! Thank you once again!!
