you would have to baffle your exhaust perfectly to make it sound like a ferrari, as the frequency they put out is typically much higher than the actual frequency the engine is putting out, giving it that screaming sound without hitting 16,000 rpm. Also the sound is travelling much less distance in a typical MR ferrari configuration than in a FR configuration. Not saying it can't be done but don't expect it unless you have an exhaust specifically made for it.

If you listen to the ferrari in the beginning of this clip, you'll see that without the baffle system in place, it sounds like a high-revving small-displacement v8

I know this post is years and years old but its pretty typical that one that thinks outside the box gets put down and "silly" post responses. This man wanted something different and totally off the wall that know one else thinks of regardless how "silly". Its different and i love the idea

I respect this post and i can understand thr f1 exhaust but maybe asking in more detail of what sound of the f1 is he going for instead of "how silly this post is", would help. I LOVE YOUR IDEA AND HAVE DONE IT. I have a much cleaner and higher tone and although my exhaust has some raspy ricey resonators, it sounds really good
