So, I'm sitting here in training class. The trainer and employees are referencing a Wiki as a single point of information, no cross references.

So I decided to make a lulz.

The fact that Wiki can be edited by anyone, and all edits are looked over by a potentially biased "admin" voids the validity of the site as a reference source.

I don't see the humor in exploiting an obvious flaw in one of the most widely used sources of information. Stuff like this usually leads to that privilege being taken away.

I honestly don't care about my threads, but I've just been noticing that a group of people are constantly ruining any threads that have potential in General Chat. It is getting tiresome.

True. At VolState we can not use wiki for any source, as the information can possibly be false

Funny you should say that. I wrote a letter to General Mills complaining that their Honey Nut Cheerios smelled a lot like urine and had a weird bitter aftertaste. They sent me some coupons, but I'm going to stick to the plain version.

So, to summarize, someone did piss in the Cheerios, then they boxed them up and sold them.

lol @ highscool research techniques. I usually use Wiki to start off and get a bunch of general facts, and then cross-reference those facts and use those secondary pages as the main source. God help me if that second source got it from Wiki though...
