"If those with so little to give do so, what is our excuse not to?"

That was a good quote, but coming from s***ty people. Public relations director Linnea Anderson got teary, too. "Just the thought of those people huddled together in a shelter and seeing a need beyond themselves is enough to give anybody chills," she said. "What a remarkable example of the human spirit."

Remarkable example of human spirit? b**** you just said 'those people' like they were terrorlst lepers.

$14.64? Wow. I guess I could match their donation and make a big deal about matching it.

It's the fact that they gave their last few pennies to help the Haitians not the amount of money.

I think you need to look beyond the trees to see the forest here...

Seriously, a country is in ruin, and you think about "those people" being called "those people"? What about "those people" who have to dig their family out of a fallen building today? What about "those people" who have to fight for food and clean water because of the disaster?

I call groups of white people "those people" too, does that make me racist against myself?

Quit b****ing and moaning about little things like a reporter saying "those people". Datte said it perfectly with

That's awesome that they pooled some money together to donate. It's not like they have a lot of money in the first place. Very nice!

When he said "those people" he is referencing the homeless that gave their "last few pennies" to help those that they saw to be in need.

So i mean my dad is homeless, and makes his money selling gay sex in NYC and is now dieing of AIDS and anal cancer. I mean i know a couple homeless folk myself and i know how much they can make in one day. Sure it was kind of them, not argueing that. Just saying that people are all "OMGZ De POORZ donated theyz moneyz yall" Like homeless people don't have hearts too. This is not the first or last time that someone unfortunate enough to be homeless will donate money to a need greater than themselves. I am agreeing with the fact that the focus is on the wrong part of the help. We don't care who donated what, if you are donating so people know you donated than you're a f***ing tool. Anonymous donations are thoughtful. People are no worse or better than you because they have a different living situation reporter b****, get off of your high horse. I would rather spend a week in the company with the homeless folk than an hour with Public relations director Linnea Anderson. Lol you guys are funny, "I donated im so cool im going to tell everyone i did so they will know what a wonderful guy i am" They need to hand out little pieces of proof like a voucher or something so you guys can post pictures haha.

Wow. Angry much?

Everyone is making a big deal about it because there are a lot of people with money to spare who aren't donating anything, yet you have some homeless guys giving up as much as they possibly can.

It's amazing to me that "those people" (I'm sorry, is that offensive to you?) who have nothing are still able to give a little to the people in Haiti, and all you can think about is a reporter saying something that isn't even discriminatory.

STFU you ignorant little punk. Get your head out of your a** and quit complaining like a little b****.

Hmm i think its more like there are people burning starving and dieing in Haiti and silly media thinks that highlighting one group of individuals who have nothing and donated everything will coerce others into doing so. Lol someone is going to read that story and change their mind about donating HAHA "Hmm i was on the fence about donating this extra mil i got...but after seeing the love those nasty disease-ridden worthless scummy cum guzzling dumpster sluts have shared i am definitely feeling the urge to donate." Good luck guys.

Of course I do, I roam the KA and KA-T formus.

Your symptoms can be the cause of a lot of different things, though. My psychic powers are lacking tonight so I can't tell you the exact problem, that means you may have to open your hood and start checking things out. :\

Hrmm well i shined my mini duck-flashlight (that makes duck noises as it shines) under there and i must've shined it all over at least twice and it still didn't fix it sooo....... I wiggled some wires but they all looked plugged in, my battery terminals are non corroded and tight. Gas lines all hooked up showing no signs of leakage. If it was something that was visually wrong i would probably have seen it to my knowledge, i was wondering if maybe there were some general non-visible problems that may be the cause of my symptoms. Preciate your time though. /threadjack

While taking public donations to feed themselves.

Its a good gesture, and a good story... But money is money, giving away theirs... then taking a greater values worth of ours is kinda stupid IMO.

I kinda have mixed thoughts on this. I am being neutral here, so I don't want to get flamed for loving/hating anyone. I am just bringing some honest points on the subject.

1.) That's nice that they did that, but...

2.) What have the people of Haiti done to help the homeless, or the US for that matter? I didn't see Haiti when Hurricane Katrina hit.

3.) Homeless people have more important things to think about, like finding HOMES. Get off welfare so we can use it for those who actually NEED it. There are plenty of hard-working Americans that have needs too. Oh, and it's going to run out soon. It's nice that they're helping out, but they should be concerned about themselves (and everyone who pays their taxes in the US) first.

4.) Is it the homeless people donating, or working people. Where is this money coming from?
