If you went to high school or college, you know wakopedia isn't a citable source.

I had a professor who would automatically fail anyone who cited wiki as a source. He warned them, and they were stupid enough to do it anyway. The wiki is ok if you just looking up some quick trivia but it is hopelessly laughable as a reliable source for anything.
Now if it were me, I would have changed facts in the article and then pointed out that the article he was citing was wrong, but that's just me.
