It will be in the NICO booth at the Motorsports Nationals event at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. That is the same weekend as the NOPI show. I see you are in South Ga. I am too. Where are you exactly?

Sweet! Moultrie, GA its surrounded by Thomasville, Valdosta, and Albany.

I was up in Americus a few weeks ago and found a car customizing shop (can't remember the name... someone's last name Customs) I was wondering if you did your car through them.

The car was built through my business that I just started with a friend. The shop is Iceberg Customs. I know of the other shop you speak of but that is all I will say about them. Anyhow if you are in town let me know and you can stop by for a ride.

Oh ok, and yea the "other place" was kinda in the ghetto so I wasnt so sure about their quality. Are you serious about the ride man? That would be AWESOME! I think the only time I'd be able to see your ride is at NOPI. But I'm really looking foward at heading up towards ATL that weekend and getting to meet the NICO guys (and gals)!

Well my shop isn't in the best part of town either and our place doesn't look as nice but our work speaks for itself. A ride is no problem if you come up to Americus. The car will be in the booth at the Motorsports show so I can't give you a ride there. Stop on by the show and check it out.

You had 295/35 18 on it before with the Mustang and drag radials...

Did you ever drive it around town with the drags radials on?

What is you DD tire setup? and how much rolling did those require?

I did drive it up town with the drag radials on it. I had very very slight rubbing on the coilovers from the tire and the rim slightly hit the spring perch. It wasn't bad and it was mostly due to me hammering it while turning. Drifting on drag radials is not recommended LOL. In a straight line I had no problems at all.

My daily driver setup is NISMO LMGT4 Silver 19 x 8.5 +25 front and 19 X 9.5 +30 rear with 245 35 19 and 275 30 19 tires. We did the baseball bat roll on the fender lip with no pull. This setup clears with no rubbing issues at all. I do have some negative camber in the back due to lowering and being maxed out on the adjustments. I need upper control arms to get it back in factory specs. I need traction so negative camber is not good for me.

Wood bat or aluminum? :DIt doesn't look like you had to roll too far either... Good to know.

I'm installing my 18x9s with 275/35 up front and 295/35 in the back (This is being purpose built for drag only) So I'll probably need a larger roll in the back.

Looks Good, I wish I had the LMGT4 wheels myself! Those are amazing and I always wanted them on the Z32

I know a few of you guys were interesting in seeing the car in person. It will be in the NICO booth at the Motorsports Nationals this month in Atlanta on the 19th and 20th. Come to the show if you can. NICO had the highest club participation last year, lets do it again! Click the link in my sig for more info.

The NICO booth is in the vendor area between the two pit garages. It is section B6 if you are looking at the signs on the fence. Stop by and see us and the NICO girls!

Dude! Im so mad! We went to the NOPI show in Dallas, not the one at AMS. There was a NICO tent there (got some t-shirts of course), and talked to the NICO rep. there. Then he told us about the other show.

iv been looking all over ebay and forums for a l92, where can i pick up a complete motor for under 5k? i found a couple of older ost for long/short blocks but no complete motors. I still have to sell my 2jz and r154's but i am seriously in the market for a v8 build. What did you pay for your motor if you dont mind my asking. i already called mast motorsports and they priced out a 530hp kit for 2600$. i am looking for a t56 too. thanks for the help. (ps, i have a 2000 silverado lm7 that i love )

I found mine on LS1tech. However when I picked mine up there really wasn't much aftermarket support for the VVT motors and most people were converting them to conventional cam setups which didn't make them very economical so you could get them cheaper then. Now people have figured out the power potential of these motors and they have gone up in price. At least they are putting them in the regular half ton trucks now so more should be showing up in the dismantlers yards. Good luck its one hell of a motor!

Come on up. I will be glad to give you a ride. Thats really about the only miles this car gets these days is test rides for customers.

My shop is Iceberg Customs. We do restorations, resto-mods, custom motorcycles, and specialize in LS swaps. Mostly we work on muscle cars and restorations but we will work on anything that you want customized. We also have an ASE mechanic on site to do any mechanical work needed as well.

Send me an email at [email protected] and I will tell you how to find us.

Come on down anytime. Just realize that once you ride in it you will want V8 power. Of course we do have a LS1 and T56 sitting in the shop right now that we could drop in for you.

Nothing much new on the car. There are still a few odds and ends that I need to take care of but I've been busy with my business. The stock T56 in the car is pretty much toast now with the power I was pushing through it. I'm trying to decide if I am going to rebuild it or if I am going to buy a Magnum T56 (its the same as a T6060 which is in the new Camaro.) We are thinking about painting it again, maybe black this time. I also need to get some RUCAs so that I can get rid of some of the negative camber from lowering. I downshifted to 3rd the other day at about 50 and fishtailed all over the place. I need all the tire I can get on the road LOL.

I have thought about possibly selling the car to move onto other projects but man this thing has a ton of hours and dollars into it. If anyone is seriously interested please feel free to contact me. I'm not going to give this thing away but I also know I can't get my $50K out of it either. If I have to I suppose I could part it out. I could also sell it as a rolling chassis ready for a LS swap as I would really like to keep this motor for my 65 Chevelle SS.
