They do suck Good for a commuter car. Not for much else. Especially not boost. What little torque was had before VTEC (ROFL) is lost to turbo lag. Peaky motors aren't good for anything but dynos and races from a roll. In any other situation they are totally useless. And yes an S13 will run mid 13's on street tires with a stock SR, all day. (Dependent of course on driver skill, track temp, humidity, barometric pressure yadda yadda). Point being like WD said paper racing is gay. I've seen many a Honda with 300+ whp get it's doors blown off by good ole' RWD American muscle which has in most cases less horsepower. Basically FWD is the limiting factor in Honda's performance. When you launch, weight goes from the front wheels that have grip and power to the rear wheels which have neither. Hell even the F22C has pitiful amounts of torque. Give me an LSD and I'll beat the pants off an S2K.
