Check this Silvia vs Integra touge battle out...if you get an ad clip, exit the screen and hit the link again to play the video.http://www.spikedhumor.com/art....html

I know there's a drag style race of both posted on youtube, but too lazy to search.

LMFAO. Not being a 1337 enough post whore is how you missed it LOL. Dude!!! When did you get back in town?

Edit: And that vid was of a lame S14 with a lame driver. He should have ran low-mid 14's.

How was he a lame driver? He obviously got out of the whole better than the integra driver. Save excuses, he lost.

In that one instance VTEC fanboy. It's well documented that stock S13's with SR's can run mid 13 second quarter miles on street tires. No stock ITR can say the same. Like anyone who knows anything about any kind of racing and isn't biased will tell you, any given situation can have many outcomes even with vastly different horsepower ratings. Irregardless I'd be happy to spank your Honda anyday

I'm not a "fanboy" of anything but god and nike dunks (especially limited colorways).I'm not biased at all, I like all cars, even kia's (well this one with a really big shot of nitrous at the track where I live). VTEC is not all that, it's been proven. I'm talking power for power, not stock for stock. Like I said before, put an H22 in a type r and keep the type r's transmission and let me see a 200hp sr clock low 13s mid 12s. I don't own a honda so I can't race you but I'm pretty sure someone in your area has the setup I stated that would laugh when you say you want to race them with a stock sr.

Reading pretty much pwns you. This thread was my first post on this board, 1 year ago. My SR is far from stock now Anyways this thread wasn't resurrected to discuss how much Hondors suck. Rather to reflect on the rice phase that I went to and to point and laugh.

Reading doesn't pwns me. I know how old it is, and how it was resurrected cause I read every page. I didn't plan on posting until sil80sushi made the 200 vs 200 comment. adrians_s13 posting a vid just basically nailed the coffin.

.

Amen to that. I haven't touched the ka shortblock in my closet thanks to nike id. As for the shoes, sorry man they are 1 size too small.

Suuuuuuuuuuuure And you know enough about Nissans to know the S14 weighs about 100lbs more than the S13....and no one agreed with sil80sushi's statements... Anyways I raced the DC2 modded and destroyed it. So as far as I'm concerned the video is irrelevant. Irregardless no more of this discussion. Any replies will not be responded to.

So how was Hawaii?

I never got that video. .Seemed fake to me,Plus its from a Type R history video so you really think they would show the real outcome of that race..Hell they didnt even show the inside view of the s14 driver.lol I love ITR's they are one of my favortie car ever..I love all honda's,My daily driver is a 00 Si civic..But ITR's stock cant beat a K's s14..I beat my best friends 194whp NA GS-R integra on stock boost and a exhaust..And he runs 14.0 1/4miles all day..

ok so im new here but im hearing all this talk about honda sucks and all and thats bull****. i own a acura integra ls thats turboed an i beat a s13 with a redtop, t28bb,fmic,intake,exhaust,lsd,and fuel pump and he was on 12 lbs, i was on 10. and i beat him by 3-4 cars. i highly doubt a STOCK sr20det could run mid 13's bc his is not stock and he lost to me (im low 13's)

Ok...I'm not sure how many of you idiots should go toss yourselves off the tallest cliff near by so we can chalk it up to gene pool cleansing.

If you take a FWD car and a RWD car of the same weight and whp, the FWD car WILL lose everytime. It's a matter of physics fella's. I see alot of bleacher racing going on here...that's just about as gay as it gets.

No two cars will run alike. I don't wanna here anymore retarded a$$ H22 swapped integra stories. That IS NOT the end all to kicking a$$...

Don't get me wrong, I think Honda makes a great motor, I just won't buy one because peaky no torque motors don't appeal to me. But 1 Bar of boost through a SR if I'm behind the wheel is going to beat the pants off of any Integra that's running NA. And don't go finding me some POS that has 350 NA whp with a bazillion wasted dollars under the hood either. Cause I'll just delete the damn post cause I think it's gay

one thing u gotta remember about that vid is the integra is a lot lighter than an s14. its one thing if both cars hae similar power AND similar weight, but if both are similar hp and diff weights the lighter car will win

They do suck Good for a commuter car. Not for much else. Especially not boost. What little torque was had before VTEC (ROFL) is lost to turbo lag. Peaky motors aren't good for anything but dynos and races from a roll. In any other situation they are totally useless. And yes an S13 will run mid 13's on street tires with a stock SR, all day. (Dependent of course on driver skill, track temp, humidity, barometric pressure yadda yadda). Point being like WD said paper racing is gay. I've seen many a Honda with 300+ whp get it's doors blown off by good ole' RWD American muscle which has in most cases less horsepower. Basically FWD is the limiting factor in Honda's performance. When you launch, weight goes from the front wheels that have grip and power to the rear wheels which have neither. Hell even the F22C has pitiful amounts of torque. Give me an LSD and I'll beat the pants off an S2K. The only replacement for displacement is airflow, the likes of which cannot be achieved in a street application.

i def agree and would never turbo a honda, but theres a local guy running a 12.1 in a 4 dr gsr integra w/ nothing but an ss autochrome turbo kit and tuning. everyone laughed when he lined up for the first time but that 4 door hauls down the track
