Yeah... The FX wheels are 20" which would simply be too big for the Maxi anyway. Look into some 18" factory rims on ebay

Just came from that event and it was fun even though there was not many maximas. Talked to a fellow maxima owner and found out about this website so I decided to join and post something.

Dent Doctor? Do I even want to know?

As for the swap...no. My parts order from Pinnacle Inifiniti should be here probably Monday or Tuesday. Besides, I think Cullen likes being close to something Nissan. I can just see him riding the engine making "vroom vroom" sounds.

hahaha.

About dent doctor. Remember that dent on that rear passenger side. Well i was thinking about it, that was not the dent that came with the car, but the one that came with the car was in the passenger front fender. Well that's been replaced, and i'm going to have dent doctor take out that small ding where some a hole hit my car with their door.

Hopefully i'll be back in full swing in july. i'll have clinic but no classes till late august, so i'll be free then if u want help.

Attn: sdot82 and jmeister.

Would either of you guys be interested in doing a writeup of your intake manifold swap to be added to the "how-to's" in our technical forum?

Sure it might take awhile since there are a couple of ways to do it.

sdot82: That's fine, no big rush. If you could, try to cover the different ways of doing it. Once you have the writeup lined out, post it in a new thread in the technical forum. Thank you.

Bobcat: Nissan recommends inspecting the drive belts every 60k miles. Most important thing to check for is cracking on the ribs of the belt and fraying on the edges. It's a relatively easy DIY. Post up if you need directions.

yeh, I'm not sure if I could do a proper write-up. I could tell ya what I did but not w/ any detail, kinda just have to jump into it. Lot more info on the .org anyway.Me and Shawn did both of ours different. We could come up w/ the basic parts required but there would need to be a lot of adendums in the write-up.

Good job on the writeup, just post up when you are finished and we will add it to our "how-to's." Good luck at the Valley, post your times.

My activity here will be pretty scarce the next few days. My grandfather passed away Monday, and I have visitation and funeral to attend.

Thanks Matt. He's been sick for quite a while so it is somewhat of a relief that he doesn't have to suffer any longer.

Sorry for your loss. Sometimes we pray for people to get better, but God decides to make them perfect. This may sound wierd, but take time to enjoy your family. It always seems funerals are some of the few times you get to see your WHOLE family in one place. Appreciate them.

Again, sorry to hear it.

Hey Steve good to hear from you, I figured we had lost you to the water for the summer. I consider myself pretty lucky in the family department, as most of my extended family are still in the area. But I agree 100% with you.

Sorry to hear about your loss Scott.

Well looks like you guys are having fun without me. I know you all miss me an such (directed toward matt) I'm not abandoning you. lol. But its going well here. I just had my engagement party last saturday. Well i felt like an american farm boy stuck in the middel of china. I had no idea what they were saying and i just stood there and smiled and nodded and well just basically looked pretty. Now that all that is out of the way, i'm going to try to meet up with a few maxima guys here in Toronto. They ahve their own website:http://www.torontomaxima.com

Nice website

Scott: Went to the dent doctor and for 60 dollars he took out all my dents. Two in the rear quater panel and two in each door on the passenger side. Did a great job in under 30 mins. I was impressed.

For some reason I don't find this hard to believe. Does this mean you'll have dual citizenship when you tie the knot?

$60 is a damn good price to remove 4 dents. Let's just try to keep her dent-free for a while now.
