I know that you didn't bash him, I just said that your comments made you look just as bad as everyone that has been bashing him.

Lonismo sorry about the thread jack, and post a video when you get it fired up, I love the sound that an rb makes.

I remeber lonismos telling someone that he was stupid because he didnt rebuild his 20+ year old rb then right after that he got one

And I honestly didnt care, and dont care if I get banned. Infact I rember hitman telling you that you were annoying and if you s*** on anyones thead again he was going to ban you.

So i am back and with the project about 50% done. The swap was a success, the 20 has really good compression and pulls up top like crazy!!! The next thing im saving for is getting this thing painted. I talked to my painter about two days ago and we have an appointment for the end of july. During that time i will be saving for shock/spring combo and some xxr526, through my job i only have to pay 600 for them.

Guys tone it down, the aggression here is unwarranted. The build looks good, it's been a while since I have checked into it.

My thoughts on a rebuild. No necessary to rebuild (bottom and full top end), if there is nothing wront with the motor, and it has health compression. However things I would do to any motor that sits is waterpump, thermostat, belts, timing belt(s), injector O - Rings, Injector cleaning, front and rear seals while you have access to them, and an oil pan gasket with cleaning of the pick up and windage tray. By far not a rebuild at all, but if your not sure it's good to know these items are done.

Well i was going to go with the r33 kit from ED. But i have recently fell in love with the oem look. I have been looking at some vortex generators, clear covers for the headlights, and xxr 526. And paint of course.

521s don't have the funky convex face thing going on.

Then put on some OEM skirts + valence if you're bored.

Get another bumper that has the grill, you can hide the intercooler better with it. Mine is hidden pretty good except for the clamp.

Thanks razi. To be honest i think that car is really clean but i have been looking at the sizes and threw my xxr catalog at my job(oreilly auto parts) they list the 521 as fwd. i think they were either 16 by 7 or 17 by 7 with really high offsets, the 526 are on back order till like august. I may just wait, or go with the 522 concaved wheels.

Yellow i have been looking for an complete bumper, the dealer wants 250 even with my discount and no luck at any junkyards here. :tisk:

521 xxr are not only fwd... go to www.nlmotoring.com and you will find the correct sizes and offsets. they come in +25 just check that site for all the sizes.

Is that a rb20 or a rb25? I'm confused because that's a rb20 transmission.

That's a RB20. 25 has a hump on the intake side for the VCT.
