I think part of the problem (at least around here) is when people see PD on the side of the road, they SLOW down for NO good reason (other than they're nosy). Hell, if PD is on the side of the road, writing some other poor bastard a ticket, that's the LAST place people should be slowing down!

Amen. When I was getting writen up a week ago, traffic slowed down significantly. And I was like WTF , people , move yer a**es, nothing fun going on here.

If I'd see a busy cop, green light to me. I actualy used that principal on my last visit to LA area. Berekeley to Santa Monica in 4 hours and 27 minutes with one 10-min gas/pee stop.

oh and j-spec tuner why do you act like you never speed or drive aggressively anywhere, I think you're full of ****I'll bet you 20 grand that you exceeded the speed limit at least once yesterday...If only there were a way to prove it, but remember 1mph over is still speeding, Just because you say you've never had a ticket doesn't mean you dont break the law...

i guess you owe me 20 large then, because my car has been in my garage for 5 months now and is 150 miles away from where i am right now smart guy.

Sure i drive over the speed limit, but im slower than 80% of the cars on the road, and with good reason too. I never drive agressively, i scared myself once and thats all it took for me to get a hint that safety comes first. I dont drive slower than most people because i dont like fun, i do it because im concerned for the well being of myself, my car and other people on the road.

You are too immature to understand these concepts having openly admited to "averaging 90+" on the highway and drunk driving to everyone on this forum. You are a disgrace to this community of car entusiasts.

This thread is becoming self-destructive. It's the kind of thing where someone gets their tender feelings hurt and run off to another forum where people will be nicer to them.

Bottom line is that we all deserve tickets at one point or another regardless of how we justify it. I'm just glad that I've gotten tickets for stupid stuff and not one I REALLY deserved.

Can we please drop this dead issue?
