i dont like cops either, they are asses for no reason, i have had maybe 4 nice ones of the 17 that have pulled me over

I'm bashing them for wasting my money and time! This is valid it's not like I was speeding and got caught then starting bashing them... could someone explain to me what they were doing sitting around wasting everyones time and money? Are we not allowed to question the actions of the LE?

It's not what you were saying about them, it's the direction the thread would go from there and I'm not saying it's your fault. We are most certainly allowed to question authority, but how long did you actually observe what they were doing? Cops usually don't just hang out on the side of the road for no apparent reason. They have donut shops for that, LOL.

I'm sure there was some reason they were there other than to just jam up the citizens of the ATL. Don't you think? Really?

I swear on all things holy repo !! They were really just sitting there talking and doing nothing with any citizens... it's the second or third time they've done this in that exact same spot.... do we have any atl cops on this board?

it is pretty sad that I had a valid argument and it got locked down ... this is the type of LE attitude that they showed me on 285 and it continues everywhere we go :-(

Was the thread going somewhere destructive? I mean, so what if we yell at eachother... I never understand that. You dont have to protect us from ourselves. What, are you worried that someone is gonna get upset from some "thread gone bad" and try to sue NICO or something? Or maybe you think your sponsors are going to be disgusted by the content and decide that this isnt a place they'd like to advertise?? Same goes with the censoring of all words that even remotely come close to a curse word. I *really* dont understand who it is that you're trying to protect. Is this supposed to be a "family oriented import car enthusiast page" or something? I really think that's kinda stupid.

I donno guys, I'm not some big anti-establishment guru either. This is the first time Ive even said something about this. I dont think the mods/admins are out to GET us or treat us unfairly, I just dont understand the rationale behind some of the things they do- and I think a good explination would go a long way to stop random, pissed off threads like this. Tell me where I'm wrong, or point out what I've missed, mods. Please.

i dont ****ing understand these bull **** word filters that filter every ****ing ****faced ****sucking mother****ing ***** word i say..... kids hear these words in elem. school... no need to protect our virgin ears, just put it in the tos.. And Fiznat ... I would not have been as upset if he would have explained his actions or atleast explained things and not locked the thread ... something! And I could understand if I was *****ing about something that was clearly unjust.

i think cops sometimes get bored and just want to do something. i do think they are needed, but i think they can lay off the trivial stuff. i mean if someone is doing 50 in a 20 or drunk driving then fine, but they tend to seek out any reason to pull u over just to see what your doing, and search your car just b/c our a younger guy in a sports car. I am the most polite guy you can meet, but they still want to be an *** to you. i do respect the Tx Hwy partol b/c they are the only ones that are professinal all the time. anyway, is it 420 Yet?
