The valve colour is Candy Apple Red if you were to ask me. Im not sure but thats what I think of when I see it. As far as the center you can just order one from nismoparts.com for $36.63 and $10 shipping charge.

I powercoated my valvecovers candy apple red with a chrome base coat. they turned out pretty close to that color.

Carl, yes and general use too lol....I'm an avid road racer prior to drift, but I will use it for both! Keen eye to detail from that single photo!

3/8 NPT tap works perfectly without having to drill at all! Pull out the existing fitting with a vice-grip or something, easy to do!!

can we use just regular paint on the valve covers to get that candy apple red look? doesnt it have to be special heat resistant paint?

I deff suggest high heat just to be safe.

Most paint places can mix rattle can paint in almost any color in both regular and high-heat paints. But for the extra few bucks just go with powdering. Safe, inexpensive, never gonna fail.

Black just really sets things off on a RB in a 240....What did you paint the block with? Just Black engine enamel? Looks clean though...Was thinking of going that route but with Crimson Valve covers...

I used a 1500 - 2000 degrees primer than a 500 gloss black spray paint can. I like the outcome. Pics don't due justice and plus the motor isn't done. Just wait until it is.

Yea they do amazingly lol. We'll see how it holds up though lol. If you must know I used a DH 1614 Gray Primer and a DE 1613 Gloss Black as my finish.

Pretty impressive stuff though its still drying. Been 24 hrs since now. I ran my finger through and it was somewhat rubbing off but enough to notice.

That loopty loop intercooler piping is freakin awesomely funny.

haha how is the intercooler piping funny - it made perfect sense to me to run it that way - i mean it was like it was designed to go there other than the whole Nissan in a Chevy thing...

I just thought it was funny because me and some friends at the shop joke about making huge loopty loops with FMIC piping and oil lines and radiator hoses and it reminded me of that.

Sweet^^^^ Sounds healthy.

No air filter and stock radiator? Did you replace any oem parts on it at all?
