Good thing you don't have neighbors nearby for those days that you just don't feel like wearing pants and want to go outside to wash your car.
Likewise, I'm guessing his neighbors were glad they are far enough away to not see him washing his car without pants on.. ;)

Morning fellas. Snow scheduled for tomorrow! Hopefully they don't salt the roads.
Me, a guy who has a 3000GT VR4 convertible and another owner with a really nice Z32 TT I see on my morning/evening commute are the last sports car hold outs on the highway. Historically, I can usually drive a fun car to Thanksgiving dinner, but that all depends on if the DOT salts.

We got a light dusting a couple of days ago. Nothing to worry about, but enough to make you realize that even fall is about over.

I just noticed that nico's red and blue bar logo thing is very similar to car and driver's.

Ugh! 58 hour work week. One day, it'll all pay off!

Starting this weekend off right with 30 oysters for $30 during "Appy Hour" at a seafood restaurant in Providence.
3 beers will shortly follow that.

Yeah I don't miss 50+ hour work weeks. I gave those up nearly 10 years ago and never looked back.

Oysters sound excellent. I need to make some seafood this weekend while the wifey is working.

Oh yeah BTW - Yuengling quickly wore off it's welcome around my house. I don't understand why you guys like that stuff so much. I ended up giving the case I bought to a friend, because after having a couple of them I quickly lost interest. Blasphemy I know, but just not my thing. I'll stick to craft beers and fru-fru stuff.

Yeungling sucks if you can't get it from the original Philadelphia brewery.

They have like 4 or 5 around the US, but they ALL suck except for that one.

The only non-craft beer to hold my interest for long is Fat Tire. It's my standby if there's not something more interesting available. Otherwise, most common brands leave much to be desired.

(I guess it's technically a craft brew, but it's easy to find and not exactly obscure, so I don't really think of it that way.)

I don't swear by Yuengling, I just like it. It's a really cheap good tasting light beer. My fridge gets populated by all sorts of beer. Whats on sale sometimes sways my judgement.

IDGAF what anyone else thinks about beer personally. I hate elitist pricks and there are a lot of beer elitists. Don't like my choice of beer? Have a nice glass of f*** you and stay away from my cooler...motherfker!

I'm definitely not a beer snob. If someone hands me a beer I'll drink almost any of them. I'm just more picky about what I keep in my own personal fridge. I don't enjoy drinking the same beers over and over. I usually keep a variety of everything on hand, which is why I like those brewmaster packs.

I'd probably keep some Yuengling on hand if it was available here, but I bought way too much and it was going to waste.

Oh, I don't care what other people are drinking, and I love trying new beers. But I hate hoppiness and LOVE maltiness, so that pretty much tells you what my favorite standy relaxation beers will be. For that reason, if I can see through it, I probably won't want much of it unless I'm already pretty tipsy.

LOL angry much?

Beer, as is with most alcohol, is completely different for everyone. Though I've always thought elitists in active practice are probably either just people who really don't like beer or don't really drink at all.

The only personal beer exception rule throughout my drinking career has just been to stay the hell away from Budweiser and American-market Heineken, Ugh.

^This all the way. If you look in my fridge it pretty much mirrors this.

The only exception is that I do enjoy apple flavored beers or malts. I have some Johnny Appleseed in there right now i've been meaning to try.

YES. I love apple beer and hard cider. I have a sixer of Angry Orchard in the fridge now. I'm not a "candy beer" guy normally, but there's something wonderful about the way the crisp bite of cider compliments the taste of alcohol.

THIS. Anyone who says anger is dangerous is just too weak to use it properly. Most of my best ideas have been fueled by passionate rage.

Angry Orchard is my go to for cider. I picked up some Johnny Appleseed and Woodchuck Green Apple Hard Cider. I haven't had a chance to try either of them, but i've heard they're both pretty good.

Also, if any of you have a Meijer around they have started selling all craft beers in singles now. It was nice to not have to buy a brewmaster six pack just to try a couple of new beers.

Well, every cider I've heard you guys mention is way too sweet for my tastes, less sugar to haunt you the next day is what I'm after...
I prefer the stronger, less-sugar added varieties like Blackthorn or Crispin. If I want sweet, I'll go with a Magners. Though I found that Angry Orchard is good with a shot of Fireball.

I don't like sweet either. I'd prefer more sour to sweet. I rarely buy any of the flavored stuff.

Maybe that's why I like it. Never thought of that before, but that's probably it. Keeps the hypoglycemia at bay. I'm always disappointed there are no good alcoholic colas for exactly this reason.

If you get the right flavor, Angry Orchard is a lot more tart than sweet. But they have a couple flavors that are really sweet, too. Dry and Crisp are both pretty tart.

I have never even seen it sold around here, nor would I think the convenient mix would make it worthy of a purchase...

Buy some RC cola and make your own. It's the sweetest and best cola for mixing purposes IMO.
