Ahhh. So it's in even way better shape than mine. I need front bumper, radiator, hood, labor, driver side headlight, and i already bought the new rad support. After it's fixed, I'm picking up a car with a proper transmission (manual). Most likely an '03 g35 sedan.

Being completely honest even though it could be repaired i'm not going through the trouble, trading it in for a 98 ls4.

My Audi has been nothing but bad luck... Things keep crashing into it while I'm at work. A city utility vehicle even ran over my front bumper... used the money to fix the engine. But between idiots... shopping carts... the fact that it's a German POS... It's falling apart quick. Runs like a champ, though!

Sorry to hear about your accident. I think my ol' Altima might have the NICO record for things running into it. It got hit 4 times in 2 years. In all cases, the car was at a complete standstill. My wife was at the wheel 3 of the times, I was at the wheel once. the body shop owner laughed each time after the 2nd accident. I could never seem to locate the bullseye on that dang car, but Interesting that the airbags never went off in any of the front collisions. Then, a month after giving it to my son as his first car at age 16 with a newly minted drivers license, our garage "jumped out and hit him in the passenger door" as he was turning into the driveway (that one doesn't count)

Morning fellas.

Any other funny accidents over the course of time? Last night I had a dream that I drove my miata off a bridge. Jumped up in bed and yelled.
Finally got brake line and fittings for the trans am. I will drive it again before the snow falls, dammit!

Well I said it before, but if anyone cares I dumped the methwagon at the junkyard yesterday. Feels like a load off my shoulders!

I had a dream about it swearing vengeance against me from the junkyard as the vultures were ripping it apart, lol.
The SR20 forum was so mad I dumped it at the yard, too. They kept offering to buy little parts or offering to buy the whole car for much less than the yard would give and hinting I was a bad person for not selling it to them for less? Logic escapes some enthusiasts I guess?

No money to get anything else, work has been too intermittent to save anything lately. I'm literally living paycheck to paycheck because one guy I worked for decided not to pay his workers for whatever reason.

I am holding several things in collateral, but I doubt he'll pay up for them since they don't quite add up to the amount owed.

That sucks. What kind of items are the collateral? Because if they're equipment that can be put to good use, you might as wool good on to them. That's assuming it is equipment and even useful.

I didn't know the SC had a1j. Was it also a manual?

Also, if that UZ was well maintained, 229K wouldn't be anything bad. Drop an r154 in and you have 5 speed v8.

Oh. Makes sense since the factory 5 speed is rare. Did you pick up the LS already? Even if you don't do a 5 speed swap, at least drop it on some nice wheels.

I'm glad you finally decided to let it go. That thing was driving you insane. Also, sorry about the living paycheck-paycheck deal. Hope the guy pays up and you can get back to where you need to be.

Ohhhh, I wasn't very active on NICO during that time, so It would seem I missed that thread. Glad it found a new home, and didn't have to be junked.

It's been over a year now... I miss it more now than when I first got rid of it. Just sucks... couldn't afford to store it and didn't have enough local friends to send it to for a while. The back story is that I sold the engine out of it because I was going to go bigger with it. Stored it in my parent's garage for a while. Got the phone call one day that I had a week to get rid of it or it was going to the junkyard. I guess it pays to have a better relationship with your parents... then again, at least they let me store it there at all. I just put a lot of time into that thing and I miss it.

I suppose you could say I should just focus on the future... but I don't have any time or money so who knows when I'll ever be able to start new again.

Hey, Bex. Did you ever decide on what to go with for the vanity plate for the speed3?

Ant, you're right. The future is all we ever have to look forward to.

Thanks Bex... And as for the collateral, it's just a 6 foot type 1A ladder, a label machine, a few supplies and a few special cables for equipment that aren't usable for anything else. Like I said, I doubt they will amount to anything from him.

24-20. Interesting ending, and watching Mr. Bunschen whine. of course,It's hard to feel too sympathetic for the Pats when you consider those infamous two words...spy gate.

Greg and I watched the game. It was probably one of the best of the season, IMO. I hate the Patriots so I was VERY pleased with the outcome. To me, the call was controversial but I heard the interview Brady gave and he admitted that it was on him, that his throw was bad. He was trying to make sure that he didn't throw it over the receiver's head and he screwed up. I was really surprised me said it.
