I am sadfaced. A Z32 is currently being auctioned off in Florida. It could be easily nabbed for peanuts, but I don't have the deposit money to grab it.

C'mon! Knock off the sexting. :chuckle:

Any new progress on your turbo build, Ben?
I got my megasquirt and wideband up and running. Still need to do the physical labor of installing the turbo kit, poking a hole in the pan, and running some coolant lines. Probably another weekend or two worth of work.

FWIW, that was the first image that showed up on searching "giggle". Kinda odd, but I'm using it.

AEM > Megasquirt
Never used it myself, but have seen others try it out with success.
I would have agreed with you a few years back, but now that MS has plenty of PNP options available (which is what people griped about previously when comparing to the AEM) its just as good, if not better, than the more expensive AEM counterpart. I recall the big argument being "well you can limp your car to the dyno to get it tuned since the AEM comes with a base tune to get you rolling there."

And yes, thats correct, but the times have changed and MS has the same functionality now-a-days.
One could argue AEM has more pins than an MS, but unless you're adding a boat load of extras, it isn't a huge selling point to me. I much prefer the full custom adjustability of the MS software as everything is open to the user. Further, a standard MS can be tailored to be used on any application. If I chose to do so, I could modify a MS unit -with instructions they so helpfully and conveniently provide- to run my old TBI V8, and still have all of the customization of an AEM without the AEM price tag.

I haven't kept up with fuel management progress. I'll look into megasquirt some more, but I was just playing off the old prejudices of the system

I can't see the photo, but I hope it is of a before and after of how far Pam Lee's or Jenny McCarthy's boobs have sagged in the past 15+ years.

Man, how hard is it to find a legit, realistic employer these days? I just got let go for "not being a go-getter". I didn't realize that was a requirement for a service job?

And then I was told that they were downsizing staff right after I witnessed them hire a new person. I suppose they think I'm stupid as hell too... ugh. Just venting here.

stock. after the fiasco i went through with my sgs2 (which i recent replaced with the sgs3), I'm not rooting any of my android devices anymore.

I pay for the apps i need and have gotten over my obsessive need to have a 'custom' UI. i just dont have the time to sink 15 collective hours into photoshopping and designing a cool interface anymore LOL

the nexus7 stock took a little getting used too, but i love it now, put a couple hours in finding some solid tablet widgets. I'll try to post a screenshot of my UI. Flipboard is the shiznit btw. Also, i bought a game called sprinkle. it is wicked fun and looks AWESOME on the tablet. (its a puzzle game like angry birds, but without the played out weakness)

on a more personal note, gave someone the axe yesterday. kinda sucked. :tisk:

Glad you get a kick out of it. Chris picked it after the Ghostbusters avatar started to bore him.
Another mod will probably make it something more absurd later down the road.

I'm never more than two steps away from a new job at any moment now, ever since Chris showed me the way to do it without having current employers know about it. Living in Maryland requires it.
I really want to move to a state where I don't have to be constantly looking over my shoulder for something to take me out of a job. These arseholes are seriously cut-throat here sometimes.

Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully I can find something more agreeable soon, in the mean time I'll just have to deal with the usual part-time data cabling gig I have in the pocket.

after some real thought on th eissue, i believe it was actually ahardware malfunction. lots of dirt/dust in hte usb port to the point that it would show as 'charging' all the time. also, no ROM i ever found compared to the battery life handling that samsung builds in. it really is great.

i got the 16gb n7, and the 16gb sgs3.

yeah, i r the manager of my department now.

he wasnt a fit for this company. we need all stars, this dude had taken off 5 days (spread out) in the first 2 months he was working for us. plus his english was AWFUL. like english comprehension was AWFUL, not just his speakin skills.

there was a lot more to it than that, but yeah... deserved it, but still sucks to look someone in the eyes and put them out of a job after the moved across the country for it. (PS, i wasnt the one that hire him)

I haven't noticed any drop in battery performance on the GNex after rooting. If anything it might be a touch better. Then again, I'm also now running a dark theme, so I'm sure that helps. I just couldn't wait to get my hands on jelly bean goodness. With TiBu, wiping/flashing/reconfiguring doesn't take much more than 30 minutes for me...

Now I need to source out an S14 rear subframe, get some offset bushings, SPL adjustment and it'll be ready to go in the vert!
