Thanks for the info. I'll have to see the photos at home.
You probably have a very good point in regards to the material. I might get some junk seats and work on them before thrashing my own.

Happy freggin' Friday!

Happy feggin' Friday indeed. I just finished a job that went stupid all of a sudden... The manager guy at the company we contract for wanted us to read his goddamn mind or something. Check it out - They were gonna get someone else to "do the job" again after we did it already because they forgot to ask us to do this one thing they needed, and we said we weren't going all the way back for extra work unless they pay extra. No contest, right? They didn't mention that work or put it on the contract or in the job description! So basically, some douche was gonna go to the site after us and do like 5 mins of work and take credit for about 4 hours of work. Nope! Not happening, the owner told them we were gonna call the lawyer and get shiz started. They immediately put their big boy pants on and worked with us.

Man, some businesses and their employees are really damn stupid.

God bless the person who invented animated gifs.

Oi, sitting around a repair shop for over an hour just for a dumb inspection is annoying.

Yep! It took me a few views to realize the short man kicked the other guy in the nads.

So, what's everybody gettin' into today? I have a festival to go to. Homemade fireworks, circus tents, a jam-session worthy of the 70's (just without all the drugs, lol), kegs and BBQ. The 90% humidity we've been getting every night should make this interesting.

Also, gonna bring out my devil sticks and old beach toys and see if we can get a good old summer beach party atmosphere going. All we need is a beach tho.

There's a carnival here somewhere and the usual fireworks this evening. I'm just c h i l i n and havin a few beers. Thinkin about waxing the Bimmer while the kids hit the slipnslide.

It's cell phone upgrade time for me as well, trying to figure out what I want out of the billion choices. I'm leaning towards the Galaxy Note II or the S4.

Thoughts?

Neither. Sony Xperia Z or HTC One. Better build quality, better screens, better hardware, and better UI/UX than Samsung.

Barely. I think I slipped into a food coma earlier and only woke up for the fireworks.

We can see all the fireworks from out Bedroom here in Dover. So we didn't have to drive anywhere and park next to a bunch of drunk lunatics.

I tell ya, kids make all events in your life so vastly different. Rather than going someplace and bbq'n and getting hammered, we had what seemed like a 100 kids between the ages of 2 and 13 running around our backyard. All the neighborhood kids here on base were here at one point. We had a couple of sprinklers and a slipnslide set up. I hit the slipnslide a couple of times after I was good and lubricated. I'm feeling it today...

Morning folks!
Helluva 4th. Did some yard work, got a car in the garage, went to the beach, broke down and bought an a/c because of the heat, found out said a/c was broken, returned it for a new a/c, saw James, got stuck in fireworks traffic for an hour and finally got home.

Anyone have some good stories?

We set off a big fountain sparkler thing on top of an old roadster hood. Other than that, ate a ton of good food and hung out with friends. Good day.

I cooked enough food for two cookouts. I thought that was rather impossible since I had 20 people were in the house and 11 of them were men / teenage boys. I figured I would be closer to running out of food.

Just got back from the festival. We had three 7-person and up bands show up, a ton of regular joe players and had two noise complaints from around the area. Amazing, we've never had them in the 1000 times before, and there are no new neighbors? I guess we just rocked out THAT hard...
