It's a lotta miles but not ridiculous. At this pace she'll hit 30K miles in one year.

Lots of kids with lots of activities / lots to do. I haven't even driven it out of the Valley yet. :chuckle:

She does not have a name. We just call her "The 3".

Not "Boss 3"? I was so jealous you got one, and in the color I want. Give me details! Any mods, was it fully loaded? Do you like or love it?

No mods. She doesn't have the tech package. I didn't need navi or a backup camera. She has 263 hp, 280 ft lb. translation: she's fast. I love it. The only thing I would change would be a much better tire and that will happen when the time comes to replace them. Everything I've ever driven with lots of hp has had lots of tire. The 3 doesn't and it was an adjustment for sure. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. :)

Who here hates it when a car sale falls through?
I'm now carless atm.
Every car I see is a p.o.s./do not want for 6k and under.

The guy with the aristo got attachment issues and doesn't wanna let it go anymore. >.>
There's a skyline for 4k, but it looks BADLY neglected.
do. not. want.

Why can't someone just inbox me and say they have a cedric/gloria/aristo/chaser/mark2/cressida/lorel turbo model for sale in my price range that isn't a p.o.s. or located on a different island.

Sigh, looks like i'ma be car hunting in two different countries for a while xD

That sucks, Turbo. Would you be able to get a Crown for your price range? Has 4 doors and the 11th gen has a turbo model. Also from what I see on yahoo japan auctions, most Crowns are in immaculate condition.

more than likely i could totally find a really good one on a japanese vehicle export site (there are several we use)
But the average commute time for shipping is 2 months.

< doesn't have 2 months.

at this point i'm starting to think i should get a p.o.s. civic for a grand and beat the everliving s*** out of it for lulz. or a geo metro.

but i'd hate to have to keep those cars.

reason I was looking along the sedan line was because it makes insurance so much cheaper, and cars like that are rarely beaten on because people my age don't buy them.

Oh. I wasn't suggesting you import a Crown. I suggested it because I thought you guys got them on the island. And since most people our age don't care about them, I figured it would be easy to get one in great condition.

It might actually make sense to buy a beater over there. That would allow you to increase your budget for the car you're gonna get over here. You're gonna be spending most of your time here with school and all, so it only makes sense to get a non-beater status daily.

Pick up a beater Aristo/Cedric/Gloria/Mark2/Cressida/Laurel, and push it round til you come back to the states.

The temps have dropped a few degrees the past couple of days (low 100s) but the humidity is up which sucks. Supposed to be back up to 110* by Sunday. Yay! :squint:

Lawd hammercy. I imagine the AC will be set to 60 on Sunday. It ain't no picnic over here either. High eighties with humidity averaging in the high 60's for the weekend and all of next week. Can't wait for the few days of fake winter weather come fake-winter time.

P.S. Can I drive the RB Z?

with the humidity here (typically) being so low, the lowest I have had the A/C this summer is 77* and that's only when I'm cooking. Otherwise it's 78* during the day and 79* at night.

sure

Crashed my Honduh, bought a Lexus. Nothing much more, besides being broke.

Unless the stock one has great sound quality, I'd say go with aftermarket.

Howd you crash man?! Glad you're alright. What happened?

I want to keep the stock system. It sounds great as it is, but I also paid extra for it, so if I can save it, I want to. Plus, nothing aftermarket keeps all of the steering wheel controls.

Hope you get it. Why'd you sell in the first place?

Well then go ahead and salvage the stock one.

Some lady ran a stop sign out of nowhere, and totaled the RSX.

:( I'm sorry man. I'm still of the thought that women can't drive. Except for Bex. I'm convinced she's an alien from planet Awesome.

If I can, I will. I have to figure out what's wrong with it in the first place. I'm hoping to Jesus and God its not bad wiring. Otherwise, its a full system replacement and wiring. Not fun y0, especially since I forgot a lot of the stuff I learned.
