Mna, the only place I might be able to get it is a few select bars- and even then its bottled. Rarely on tap.

I used to drink beer a lot when in the Navy. Hell, I'd have no less than a 30 rack at any time. I'm way bigger into liquor now.

It varies. Here's a list for reference.

I remember when Icehouse came out YEARS ago. Everyone wanted it because at the time, it had the highest alcohol content in a bottled beer. Now, it's pretty average.

Morning fellas.
Damn this rainy weather. At least we're not on the MS river, they're having a rough week.

I recently ran into some folks who wanted to brand their fish product "Icehouse" but never heard of the cheap malt liquor beer, Icehouse. The conversation got very interesting. Its my belief that at one point in their lives, most males have been connoisseurs of cheap beer.

Ahhh ok someone had told me the average was 4% in the states but those seem more towards the 6-7% range. The stories ya hear about each others country eh

Good morning. I quit my job today in favor of something else starting tomorrow. Back on 1099...

At least I get to tell people to stuff it when I need to now. I still can't believe they wanted $250 a month for health insurance.

Health Ins is a rip...until you need it. Was the 250/month not a good plan or? If you find yourself exploring one of those "exchanges" let us know how it goes.

Not all that long ago I had insurance that was good for what I needed it for at around $80 a month, so something that gives me almost the same type for more than three times the amount is bullsh*t. I can go to a clinic for what I need now and still pay full amount on my prescriptions for much less than that total. The occasional large cost can be a problem, but that figure still won't balance out, not by a long shot. My savings has been able to take care of that in the past...

Even at $100 I wouldn't feel it, but $250 is robbery for an hmo equivalent.

That's a cheap shot and you're just guessing that. I happen to know it's just because United Healthcare and the company I was working for suck balls. They were so cheap they would love to charge us for the paperwork we had to fill out for the position. Seriously...

The company I'm going to work for later this week has different insurance that has been adjusted for the 2014 shift and is only around $100, thus the reason I'm switching jobs.

Also ran across a guy who was/is hoarding Camaro/Firebird parts. Was AMAZED at the amount of inventory and vehicles he has just sitting around.

Cool dude, not the usuall suspect I expected with a tin foil hat and only accepts cash to stay off the grid. He actually can take credit cards, checks, and even offered to barter if I had anything of value. Pretty sweet.

Nope, not usually.

I'm going to depart from the fried rice I've been making for the past two years and have two new ideas for this years scallop dinner at Carlisle
- Yellow curry with rice
- Basil, white bean, zucchini and mushroom salad

Whatchya think?
Should make a facebook event page, too.

Hmm... The scallops were really good..

Would the yellow curry with rice be a chicken dish? That could be pretty tasty..

It could, but chicken takes MUCH longer to cook in my room.

I wonder if we could grill a bunch of the chicken breasts at the track before we leave, then heat them back up on your griddles? Just an idea. Or perhaps someone local has a small hibachi grill we could bust out..
