I work for a company that makes all kinds of hot dogs. I've been to 4 facilities where we make them -- nothing every struck me as odd. Maybe it's the kind of facility you went to?
the one I visited had just had a listeria outbreak. The cleanliness was severely lacking.

Wow. They must not sell to any major chains and certainly not to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart requires all its suppliers to maintain SQF certification, which is above and beyond any standard food safety and quality certification either required by law or adopted by a company voluntarily.

I can honestly say that the facilities I've been to operated by Sara Lee are clean, safe, and very very focused on making sure their product is high-quality. As a plant manager or safety manager, you do NOT want any buggies in your product or you will not be in your position for long.

The symptoms I've had (minimal) and why I have a container of dookie. Just going through it makes it seem like such an absurdly funny story to me. I dunno. I think I might be a bit sick in the head...

You talk much more on the internet than you do in person.

And let me know if your dad needs the beer replaced - I'll come by, we can fix your starter, and then we can take it to the liquor store.

OIC, Adam.

You should tell her you think you have gonhhasyphaherpeaids.

Damnit. So doctors I'm sure hate patients that self-diagnose. So am I allowed to be less than pleased with a doctor who makes a diagnosis without listening to my description of all the symptoms?

That depends on two things:

1) what that diagnosis is

2) if the doctor is right

I think he's close. He's claiming single-celled parasite. I'm disagreeing. Unless I'm seeing things, because I know for a fact I would not recognize a single-celled organism with the naked eye. Damnit, nor would I feel it...

Either way, if he's right, the prescription should have everything basically covered in a day or so. Should be able to tell tomorrow.

You know it takes quite a bit to seriously gross me out. Congratulations.

How the hell did you contract these little colonists? Go to Mexico lately? Drink unpurified well water? Go swimming in a sewage stabilization pond?

DID YOU LET TYLER KISS YOU???

Gross you out? That was hands down the sickest thing I've ever done. And I've done some ridiculous stuff. How else do you think I collected the sample? Plus, I asked about flushing latex gloves, remember?

And I have no idea how I contracted this little bish. If it is what I think it is (roundworm) it is apparently more common than I thought and can live in your system for months to years before really giving you problems.

LOL @ your mom.

As for the "feeling" thing -- I thought you meant you felt them wriggling around up inside.

Oh fack that. I'd start drinking poison. That'd be absolutely horrible.

And I don't think my mom understands the phrase "ATM" as she told me to stop doing it with the ladies. If that were the case, they'd be the ones consuming doo doo butter, not me... I wasn't about to explain it though.
