Damn. We're so big that the spammers now skip Gen Chat completely and come straight into the Learned'd. This is an important milestone.

Heya, Adam.

It was great to see everybody. I take it you didn't get to pick up your speakers?

Nah, ATM wouldn't dispense that large amount of funds. Honestly, why are there caps on those things? So that a criminal can't steal my card and PIN and empty my account in one day? For reals, I don't need to be protected. If I get my card stolen (there are a few situations where it could happen, like being held up at gun-point), my PIN should not be so easy to figure out. At that point, I probably deserve to get my money taken. Hell, it's not even like I was trying to withdraw twenty grand.

Long story short, I'll probably be driving back up on Saturday morning to complete the sale.

Now that I've met you in person, Adam, I find that visuals like that are disturbing.

Not nearly as disturbing as sifting through your own log trying to obtain a sample for the office. I nearly threw up...

On that note, does anyone think it is a bad idea to flush latex gloves down the toilet?

Glad someone else sees the humor in this. I was simultaneously laughing and gagging. Never had that happen to me before. Honestly.

Gah. And I shook your hand and then touched my mouth. Imma catch me da wurmz.

Oh, and latex gloves down the toilet are fine. But when the sewer alligators claim another victim and there are no prints at the crime scene, I'll know who to blame.

Just drink a lot of mescal and stick a bottle up your starfish. The worms will happily wriggle toward their new home.

That's how some of the ground meat in our burgers are done.
They wash the meat in chlorine because there might be a little bit of poop in it that can cause E. coli, then they use that as filler meat.

I work for a company that makes all kinds of hot dogs. I've been to 4 facilities where we make them -- nothing every struck me as odd. Maybe it's the kind of facility you went to?

Extrusion is the way you get dogs, kielbalsa, link sausage, chub (patty) sausage, ring bologna and other tube-shaped and pre-sliced lunchmeats. Our kosher hot dog plant in Chicago (now closed) was actually one of the most amazing smelling places I've ever been to. Of course, kosher beef products can only come from the briscuit of the beef (between the bottom of the ribcase and the bottom of the neck. I miss those hot dogs...they were THE BEST tasting hot dogs I've ever had.
