yes i know you have the auto door locking module with speed sensor, but im saying add to that module, when you put the car in park, it auto unlocks the doors.KPierson wrote:KPtechnologies currently offers an auto door locking module with an optional speed switch!
That would be up to the vehicle and isntaller. I've never heard of one actually installed that way, but I do believe it can be done. The module basically has a 12vdc input that when energized the doors lock, and when power is taken away the doors unlock. If the vehicle has a signal for the transmission is in park (some do, some don't), then it can be done with a relay.bina12834 wrote:

that is if its possible
I'm REALLY interested in #4KPierson wrote:AzureCoupe0888 just left with four working KPtechnologies modules -
1. Remote window roll up2. Remote sunroof open/close3. Independent fog light controller (uses OEM fog light switch to turn on fog lights even if head lights arn't on)4. Mirror tilt module (tilts mirror when car is in reverse, then brings mirror back up automatically).
Honestly, the Altima is a fairly difficult vehicle to work on - most of the wires were hard to get to and hard to splice. We got it though!
I remember seeing a thread a while back where you used that Navi-OK Bypass to do just that, if I'm not mistaken. Something about switching between the navi and a computer.AzureCoupe0888 wrote:KPtechnologies will NOT modify any OEM system to allow AUX video inputs on the Navi screen. I'm not sure if that is exactly what was being asked for, but that is our policy. We simply can't take on that much liability.
Most state laws allow for video screens that are visable by the driver to legally display GPS information or information relevent to the vehicle (gauges, climage control, radio settings, etc).guitarist982 wrote:

EDIT -- Found it zer...70477
Is there something I'm missing?
Makes sense. Thanks for the explanation and the quick reply.KPierson wrote:Most state laws allow for video screens that are visable by the driver to legally display GPS information or information relevent to the vehicle (gauges, climage control, radio settings, etc).
Although there is a computer hooked up it is soley used to display engine information, so therefore would be 100% legal in the state of Ohio. The carputer is setup to start when the vehicle is started and automatically start the gauge program with no user interaction - in fact I have no way to interface with the carpute while driving (there isn't a touch screen and no permanent keyboard or mouse available).
The KPtechnologies module used does NOT do any video conversion at all, nor will it alone allow for any type of video to be displayed on thes screen the module simply has a (-) switch output that can interface with a 3rd party product that converts the carputer video output to a signal acceptable to the Navi screen (rgb+s).
Definitely down with the reverse tilt mirror modification! I'm so used to it with my acuras and sometimes the backup camera doesn't cut itanthonyle2002 wrote:I am soooooo down for the tilt mirror and window up modules!!!!!!
