I've heard that the Focus RS may come as a replacement for the SVT Focus. Apparently SVT is facing some big cuts and importing the RS would be an easy way to replace the SVT Focus. This may, of course, all be internet hearsay.

Isn't the Focus RS Cosworth closer to the vehicle used in WRC? I believe the Cosworth is an AWD vehicle. I'd imagine it would be closer to EVO or STI levels as far as price goes. Much more expensive than an SRT-4.

the SVT focus is made in mexico, but its still pretty sweet for the price (i just dont like the build quality and looks)

The SRT-4 has gotten great reviews in every mag I've seen it in, some have even claimed it's the best deal under 20k. But it's still one of the ugliest cars on the market right now, IMO. I'd rather take a S14, turbo'd of course, anyday. The mag I read about it in claims it has a 4G64, which is a mitsubishi motor.

I dont think its THAT ugly, I like the front...especially with the FMIC =) The rear however looks frumpy, it sits up too high or something and the rear lights are like the normal crappy neon.

As far as I know, SRT uses a Mitsu turbo. That's it.
