i think its really time consuming to set all those clearances right. a machine shop wanted a dec amount of money to rebuild my head just cause of the shimming part.

Surprisingly, they were all well written. I had a really good buzz, but I wasn't trashed. I try to avoid that. I get hungover really easily, so I try to only drink until I have that really good buzz. Sidenote, idahotuner is parting out his S13 :( had an unexpected bill come up it seems.

LOL Frank you crazy fool.

I'm trying to replace my front main seal and put in the Quest alternator.
I wish I had a TV or something in the garage so I can watch TV while peacefully working on my car.

You know your car is bad if you have to get stoned just to be able to deal with the stress from working on it.

Don't feel too bad. Took me about 7 months to do my suspension overhaul/turbo install last year.

I want to kat my s13 coupe but I am about to tear down my kouki for a motor swap. I couldn't be 240 less for that long I would go insane. That is the whole reason I bought the coupe is so I wouldn't have to do without. lol

I hate any sort of downtime haha.

I think my oil pump is on it's way out. When I start my car there's no oil pressure for like 10 seconds, then the pump starts whining really loudly and my pressure goes up to about 60 psi. Once the car warms up the noise goes away, but by then my oil pressure is back down to around 10 psi. I'm getting rebuild parts for Christmas, I guess tonight I'll put my spare engine on the stand and start tearing it apart.

Yeah, sounds like it's dieing.
Even at like 200 degree coolant temps, my oil pressure barely falls under 25 psi.

I just took my front crank off and the Autozone seal is the incorrect size. :squint:
I ordered from FRsport now, shoulda done that in the first place.

They can be had from 300-500 depending on the condition and if the tires are included or not. I actually traded my 17x9 962's for the ones I have :gapteeth:

Ive seen some Z's with a hell of a lot worse wheels than that around here. What these people are thinking getting rid of decent wheels for some even crappier/more sunken wheels ill never know

Good luck finding a set though man :bigthumb:
