Dude, earlier in the post you talked smack about my comment suggesting bad gas. Now you tell us all you have 2 year old gas in the tank with good gas on top? The pump sucks gas from the bottom of the tank which common sense should tell you its sucking 2 year old gas into the fuel rail. Drain the gas out, refill and enjoy your new engine.

nope already checked again .... the tank was under 1/8 tank and i put in $20 worth of 93 3 months ago. do the math yourself its not the fuel. I WOULD LOVE FOR IT TO BE THAT EASY :chuckle:
And the ECU read 34. maybe I need a new knock sensor or it could just be bogging to bad, maybe i have bad wiring or a bad ECU. But I dont think it the gas itself.... and remember im having to jump my fuel pump relay with speaker wire. it didn't do that before. when i press the gas peddle it bogs , unless it ease on it then it revs fine untill i give to much too fast and it bogs again. more like either an A/F mix problem( egr is deleted only vacuum is from the mani to the fpr, it has all new fuel lines) Bad timing could be it I dont own a timing light/ gun.
but the whole car is just my toy so i dont let it upset me, i got the car and title for a set of rims and bought the motor for $200.......lol
I will figure it out soon. but thanks for trolling

well i dont know if this has anything to do with it, but using an OBDI harness with an OBDII motor might have caused the problem.

I know this sounds like a really simple and dumb answer, but make sure you actually clean off all the grounds.

I spent a week trying to figure out why my KA wouldn't start and why it had a crappy idle when I push started it. I was just about to buy some parts when I decided to unbolt every ground, clean them, scrub them down with sand paper and scrub the spot they bolted to and then hooked them back up. As soon as I did it my car ran perfectly.

This was also right after I swapped out one KA for a better one and I hadn't had the problem before. So give it a try if you haven't.

i acutally just swapped my s14 96 ka into my 92 s13 lol. i changed the dizzy, upper intake mani. thats it. i had the same problem. ran like s*** and didnt idle for s***. so fixed all vaccum leaks, fixed alot. seems that the return line on my fuel rail was clogged. check that. and bro you know the s14 maf is compleatly different than the s13 ka maf right? u need the maf and pigtail. im in that situation right now. good luck.

The only vacuum I have is from the intake mani to the fpr. I removed the egr crap. im using the original wiring harness and all the s13 parts. I also have all new fuel lines. I need to get more voltmeter readings and post

NISMO24096 ran a consult cable on my car :bowrofl:
we noticed everytime you hit the gas the ignition timing drops really far.
we tried swapping out MAF sensors it didn't change the outcome.

if anyone has any advice>>>> let me hear it

NISMO24096 brought by a #29 ECU to test.
it fixed the relay problem ( i now can put in a working relay and it functions properly ) ,so i know that my #28 is messing up, But it still drops ignition timing when I press the gas so now i can rule out the the relays circuit is not causing the problem.
More tests coming.
