Hey guys,I work at STiLL RACiNG and we are looking to do a power pulley set for the ka24de motor.

We are looking to do a lightweight/underdrive set.

We are first looking for 15-20 people that would be interested in purchasing these at a one-time special nicoclub.com price.

The price would be a special introductory price of $250 a set, and would include the crank pulley, alternator, powersteering, and water pump.

Unorthodox racing sells JUST the crank pulley for $200 and the whole set for $410

let me know if you guys are interested and if so msg me and I'll put you on the list, as soon as we get at least 15 we will start producing them, and we'd like to see these going out within the next 2-4 weeks, we don't want to take our sweet time.

All parts are FULL cnc-milled to the highest of tolerances utilizing only aerospace metals and components.

I'll have pics up shortly.

Furthermore our tolerances for machining are 0.0001" thats 1/10000 of an inch, that's the accuracy of hardcore pistons and rods, also its more accurate than red-laser's or waterjet accuracy. We are trying to get that down in half too but it would probably affect pricing, and its unnecessary.

I'll have pics soon.

Im trying the pics thing. Here is one of our products, (not metal though, I'll get aluminum pics shortly) But this is to show what we do usually.

Enjoy!

We specialize in Carbon fiber beyond F1 Quality, IT IS N.A.S.A Quality, that piece is for a evo 8.

We disassembled a brand new evo 8 spoiler, made molds and our first parts are stronger by about 20-30% as well as being 20-30% less in weight.

Piece shown weight 190 grams, stock piece weighs 290 grams, almost a third of the weight gone.

On a side note we will be seeing if it looks good and then offering it if it does...a 100% OEM spec Mitsubishi Evo 8 spoiler sized for the 240sx, as well as other makes/models. =)

I'll post more pics shortly.

Just wondering...do you know any Orozco's in San Antonio, TX (a couple of them drive 240's) Ivan, Danny, Alex Orozco?

Just wondering, my friends family moved over there, and now they're all about 240s.

Are you going to put a different airfoil on it? One that has better drag to down force ratios? Also, I'm wouldn't Mitsubishi have something to say about a scale copy of their design?

Actually the design is quite good when it comes to downforce versus drag. I have seen mitsubishi's air-tunnel test results (several of them based on several differing factors.) What they chose for stock is GREAT. I am considering dumping the wing angle a couple of degree's (really who runs at 160+mph) that is where you would see great drag from the car.

Also, With the design manipulations in regards to the center airfoil, we are on the edge of legality. =) We can go forward with it, because we are changing small parts in the design (processes, slight design changes, etc.) Basically finding flaws and changing them.

How much lighter would you expect the pulleys to be using the crank as an example? How much smaller would the pulley be? Is $250 shipped, or is shipping on top of that? How much would shipping be to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. What do you think your retail price would be after the $250 introductory rate? Thanks.

Its $250 Without shipping. I DONT plan on making anything from shipping, it kills me to see fools with huge shipping prices that are unnecessary. What it costs us is what it'll cost you. Whatever method of shipping you would like, I can work with.

If you're willing to pay cheapest ups, fedex, or usps. then its all good.

The crankshaft pulley will be about 10-15% reduced, weight-wise it will be only about 3 pounds, if that. We are trying to out-design unorthodox racing pulleys, though we are VERY happy with the products we have gotten fropm them on some of our cars, we believe that we can do better =)

As for the post-introductory price, we are looking at about $350. Though we may offer a completely different set for about $550-600 depending on our R & D.

Email me the address in Canada and I'll check out ups's site (it asked for a city AND zip code... I only have the city.

Thanks

Ups.com shows $20.05, but I'm putting generic info in there...so about that much..Like I said we don't add any extra charges to the price we get from ups/usps/fedex.

Thanks

How about you get me a set for $200 and free shipping and I'll give you my dyno result from it that cost me $65 anyway's. We will see if it makes any type of serious improvement for $250.I'll also show results before and after SAFC tuning.

How much reduction will cause the pulleys?

IE ASP does 30% on the AC, 15% in the water pump, etc)

We will be doing a set for the ka24e as well, after this set is setup and finished, so don't be disappointed. Keep your eye out.

Thanks for the reminder/inquiry...I meant to put that info up also.

I'm telling you man, big money in the aluminum drive shafts. There compatible with the E and DE engines of course....... They drop more weight than the pulley's ever could and it reduces MOI's, putting more power to the rear wheels!!!!

I'm with you on that one, but one of my sponsored cars is blowing up power-steering lines, even custom super-strong ones. so I need to underdrive that one too...and its a ka24e.

The KA24E's days are numbered, I'll be moving to a CA18DET in the near future. Maybe we will need to one-off a set of those laf!
