NismoFreak, Any news on the manifold and downpipe? Prices? I think a setup for a log manifold setup for a t3/t4 from like http://www.cheapturbos.com and external 35mm Tial wastegate and downpipe with the wastegate dumped to it would sell well. I would definetly buy a package like that. Just make sure the downpipe would fit up to an aftermarket 3 in SR downpipe. Is this the kind of setup your coming up with?

There's really no way he could make downpipes...b/c not every turbo will have the same place for exhaust or the same flange.

That's why I said base it on a turbo from cheapturbos.com. They have basic garret turbochargers with a t3/t4 foot print which would be most common among setups they also are decently priced. This would allow an option to have a downpipe when using a specific turbo.

FINALLY... I found a stock KA24DE exhaust manifold... so it'll be sent off wednesday for the headflange. Once we get the headflanges we will make the first manifold that night and get pics up.

Head flange? Go to an exhaust shop and buy four 1 3/4" flanges! (okay not quite as straight in the end product, but a belt sander takes care of that and it won't flex as much with heat/ cooling.) Justin

How come you don't just use exhaust gaskets, real cheap and real easy to order. Just a thought...

Exhaust gaskets for the KA come 4 in a box... you still need the spacing specs for the ports :)

I'd rather do it the most accurate, available method.

What's gay??. I was wondering which company you build turbo kits for WD. But you can get some seriously thick individual manifold (head) flanges for a manifold. I saw jgs's flanges were about $60 I think for the SOHC, but no manifold available. I think that's a good price if it's clean and stout. And if interested I can get the pipe elbows for about $2.50 and the T's for $8. I don't think the radius is quite as tight, but I'm getting a set to try out in a couple of days. Justin

that was freakin great!! Ive been thinkin about it for a long time actually, I just would rather wait a couple months till I actually have somethin to back it up. also, there is no more gaping hole there anyways as the whole bumper was destroyed in a minor accident. Im replacing it with a factory urethane s15 bumper, should look alot cleaner imo too. thanks for the concern tho.

Josh
