Everything sounds the same until about 3000 rpms. It starts to scream at 4.5 rpms. I think it sounds good, nice and deep.

He's the guy that ran the group buy on the other forum that we jumped on. His email [email protected] and you might want to send him one asking if he's got any in stock or he could maybe get one. On the K&N site it does say out of stock, but to me that just means that they are out of stock. Maybe Justin bought a few more than he sold hoping the group buy numbers would increase...you never know unless you try.

So go on, email away, and good luck getting your hands on one

FYI ... from Justin at Import Car Parts Plus

Quote »$270 shipped to you. It has been changed to a sale, you can order anytime at that price. We are out of them at this time. But K&N has them in stock. It would take about a week and a half to two weeks to come in. Then about a week shipping to you.[/quote]And thats shipping to Canada. Sounds pretty decent. Everyone that ordered from him had no problems with payment or delivery or anything?

It was a pleasure doing business with justin and that company.

Also most of us got it for 249 shipped by air.

Cheap and fast service.

(finally) got my intake installed over the weekend took a bunch of pictures of the process, so if anyone still wants a guide, lemme know and I'll put one together.

The K&N directions weren't horrible...they just left a few steps out making you rely on their diagram a bit. Only had 1 hose left over, which I figure should be going to emissions, but I just reused the OEM one for that connection.

No warnings or anything like that came up after the install or 300 miles later. Sounds pretty awesome too and I love the fact that you can't even tell it's there unless you stomp on the gas.

So far I'm happy

Exactly but when you stomp on it that puppy roars.

As i posted before, the directions were pretty stinky.

i had a bunch of parts left over, most of them i knew why.

the only part i had left over was the extra rubber tubing that K&N gives us. maybe i got a good batch of directions, because i followed mine to a T.

Do you think you can put a guide together when you can? I got the intake but the directions are crap. Its literally half a page of just some bullet points with no directions on exactly how to do it. I'm very disappointed w the directions but looks like everyone is happy w the product

Can do! Just give me some time for it. Might need to grab my copy of the K&N directions and just upgrade them Need to find my copy first unless someone knows where to get an electronic version. Will start on it when I get some down time at work.

I also had the tubing left over, but my directions were semi-decent. All nuts and bolts and the like are accounted for

EDIT: Will try to do it without the instructions so I can get it up earlier (no puns possible so get your minds out of the gutter ) Maybe as early as tomorrow depending on how the photo upload goes. There will be around 30 steps and I'll try to have a shot for each one.
