awesome.....just got mine today and i cant wait to install it.....i need to wait for help though because i just had surgery last thurs and i dont want to over exert myself and get hurt more.

ok here are some sound clips.....sorry for the bad camera...these were taken with my 4 year old digital camera

this one the camera is sitting on the air diverter in the engine bay, so its about 1 foot from the WAI....you can also watch my Xentec 5000k HIDs fire up and go from blue to white .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvT8JtkTc4Q

this one is the camera is on the ground about 3 feet from the car....look at those Xentec's fire up thats a fog light btw...

sound clips while the car is stopped doesn't do justice for the k&n intake. you gotta be movin' (to get air to actually flow into the intake) and rev at least 3000 rpm to hear how good it sounds.. thats why its so hard for me to get a clip of it!

got a reply saying I'll be added to the group buy

here's the info without links (in case t0e's post gets deleted)...email [email protected] with the following info: car, part, phone, email, state, and payment

the cost is listed as $249 shipped and part #69-7061TS

they needed 10 people to go through with the group buy by friday and I made #9, so it looks very likely to go through

No i did not see the possibility of a better price. (at this point i dont really care 249 is cheap enough) Id take the better price though.

Is everything legit with this company? I got a speedy reply from them after i emailed them.

Hope they're legit. I guess we gotta trust the other forum to have done a check before letting them post a group buy. I also got a quick reply. Since I'll be paying by AMEX through PayPal, it's AMEX who's going to be doing the headcracking if something's wrong. But I hope it doesn't come to that.

Price is good as it is, but lower is always better. I'll keep an eye on it if there's a response.

No idea. My guess is that he may have never intended to go lower. I doubt that he'd be going for a price that his bosses were upset with.

didnt even know they existed. I will pass on them. The site says filters dont need to be cleaned til atleast 50,000 miles. The car will be somebody elses problem at 50,000 miles.

So is this deal still going on? Or did they end it already? I thought it ended on Friday, but it sounds like it could've ended earlier. And any idea on how many people they have already?Only way i'd get in on this is if it's lower than 249, cause that's the price I can already get it for.

there's 11 people but 1 isn't confirmed yet. he/she also stated that an order of 10 intakes has been placed and will be in by end of next week. so if he gets 4-5 buyers confirmed in the meantime he will send the 10 intakes out with air shipping. so 10 buyers = reg shipping 15 buyers = air shipping price is 249 shipped.
