Thanks for the replies.

Guys, that site I just posted has VERY good prices on clips shipped to the US. I would DEFINETELY email them asap.

http://www.japimports.com.au

After I converted their prices for a RB25DET R33 clip shipped to the US, it came out to 3,481.21 USD.

Here is the email I exchanged with them.

Quote »Hi

>Do you currently have R33 RB25DET clips in your stock? Or can you get one?

we have two available in stock, both 5 speed manual, one has 50000k's, the other 55000k's.

>I live in America, and I need one badly. But it has to be in good condition>with decent mileage.

see above, very low mileage and engines in excellent condition.

$4500 less the front brakes (thats Australian dollars, for conversion go to http://www.xe.net). With brakes its $4850

>Please let me know, and possibly how much it is.

shipping around $800AUD to nearest shipping port

Please advise (noet that we have sent several to the US so are experienced at international shipping)

cheers

Brad HostDirectorDealer Principal
And another one..

Quote »Hi

>Thank you for your email. I am VERY interested. I have a couple more>questions though.

>-Can you get me a picture of it?

yes but will have to be Monday- its the weekend!

>-where is this clip coming from? Autstralia? Japan?

Australia, originally Japan but we have stocks here that we can dispatch from

>-How long does shipping take to the US?

around 40 days

>-How can I pay for it?

many ways... but direct deposit is the best where you TT our business bank account or alternatively paypal.com

>-Does the gauge cluster come with the clip?

yes

>-Is the interior harness intact?

ie dash harness??? yes

Please advise, I have one left at this stage and have three other current email enquiries, first in, best dressed!

-- Regards

Brad HostDirectorDealer Principal
Better talk to them. They also specialize in skylines and have many parts available..

I couldn't believe I had found someone that had them in stock. I would have purchased it if I hadn't found a complete swap earlier that day of which I already put a deposit on. Oh well.

Contact them guys.. I really want to help those who are looking for them. Better make it quick if you do though, because their last one might be sold already. And they said they can get pics!!

You guys should check out http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/I was talking to them a couple months ago and they told me that they were getting a RB25DET soon. Don't know if they ever did get one in ... i changed my plans... email them because they were giving me about the same prices as the other guys. Just giving you a heads up on some other options cuz they are getting slimmer by the second!!

They have an tight *** shop car though... i think they sold it but it is a RB25DET with stock internals (well only a thicker head gasket to lower compression) and was putting down 600whp (when converted from kw)!!!

I hope this will help some of you in need of the skyline power!

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, but I am considering an RB swap in my 93 240 Convertible (will be a daily driver with showcar looks and some good get up and go) so this of interest to me.

I found this as I was searching:

http://www.tpautomotive.com/vShopping/nissan.htm

I have no knowledge of this company, just wanted to pass along the info. If I find out more, I will pass it along.

I also found this company: http://www.rbmotoring.com. They actually import Skylines to the states and have a 240 project car. They do not specifically sell motors/clips at this point, but may have some useful info.

I am at least 6 mo from starting my project and I don't have the time to fully research these sites/companies. Hopefully someone closer to starting their project can research them and post on this site.

I don't know if afterdark actually has them in stock but they do the rb26 wtih a-31 crossmember and rb25 transmission for something like 6,500 i think. The rb25 transmission does bolt on, you just need to modify the oilpan. You would also need either a single turbo conversion or some custom steering links. McKinney says you can keep the twin turbos with they're mount kit. I don't know how much the kit is but probably expensive.

I would be down with a group buy if it is less than 2200 for the RB25. You guys sell the RB25 for 1800, then around 300-400 according to your website. correct? Unfotunetaly I would have the whole amount by the end of august.

Do you guys have a shop in the US? If so where is it? Also say I buy a clip from you guys and there are some damaged parts. Are you willing to replace these parts free of charge? Or do we have to go through the hassle of shipping the damaged item back to you for inspection. Essentially what I am saying is, you guys have some really good pricing, but I am doubtful of your customer service.

First of all, if haven't got a shop in U.S yet but planning to get one in Miami, we do keep some of our stock in U.S. The products that we are selling are in good condition and sometimes also in low milleage. Like the engine that are reserved for mmerritt2. The warranty such as start up engine, compression test and turbo oil leak comes with it. IT DEPENDS ON WHAT PART IS DAMAGED. I can't say that our customer service is perfect but our company will try our best to give you a full satisfisfaction. We will be ready to answer all your question and solve it as soon as we can.=)

HE SAID ABOUT 350-450 IN ANOTHER POST. AND BLUEFIRE I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THEM AND I THINK THEY ARE ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SO I THINK IF YOU HAD ANY PROBLEMS YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT RESOLVED RATHER EASILY.
