I'll be looking down the barrel of offspring around age 30, and at that point, it'll be a nice excuse to continue buying legos and videogames without being ridiculed, lol.

If you're kidding, f@#k you, lol. If you're not kidding, congratulations, I suppose. I have a friend who pays child support, it sucks, just get custody, and don't be tempted to continue the relationship just because there's a kid if it was a bad relationship.

Agreed! It won't to the child any good to grow up in a dysfunctional relationship. Make sure the kid gets taken care of. That doesn't necessarily mean you need to continue a bad relationship.

If you are not lying, indeed, you should probably consider a paternity test once the child is born, or earlier if pre-natal means are available. Based on your description of this chick (self-esteem issues, etc. etc.) it may not be out of character for her to have multiple partners, any of whom could have fathered the child. Better be sure before you lose your youth (you're older than me, lol) and lots of your money.
