and a jetta conversion btw

this motor is beat to hell! Everything is wrong withit and im thinking about swapping my 24e into it.

and a crappy pic of the s14 leather (special edition?) passenger seat i traded one of my sparco speed seats for 2nite from a fellow member. Thanks if youre viewing btw.

Nice man, you got a hatch. You need better pics, but I can see the damage. So I'm assuming you are transferring everything over this baby? (silvia front etc.)

yea and its currently stressing me out, my suspension wont swap!!!! along with the fact i dont have proper tools smh... im gonna have to deal with this when i come back home 2nite from work. Right now the coupe is sitting on the se wheel and a crate cause the 93 struts wont line up with the 89 knuckle.. but i was only able to get 1 coil on the hatch with my time and 1 fender off.

nope apparently wat it was... was that the arm needed to be stepped on and flexed down to line up, something to do with preload i think... neways my friend got it on 4 me while i was at work. I had to leave it on the street standing on the se wheel and a milk crate
Angerman wrote:nice bro i like how its coming along!!
JDM Sil4ty wrote:hope this project turns out well .. looks like you know you direction .. other ppl dont ..
thanks

BTW the suspension that was on the hatch was not kyb and tokico blues as i was told, its only tokico blue with stock springs so scratch that sale, unless someone wants the tokico's for 100 all 4 plus stock suspension by the end of this week !!!!

Ok so 2nite when i got home from work i got some more accomplished id say... a good amount considering the things i had to do. I finished swapping the front coils over to the hatch, and took the entire front off. Also swapped my se wheels over. Sorry once again all i have are horrible night pics. 2morro no work when i wake up seeing as its lik 4 11 am now and im not waking up at 9 to work again. 2morro is clean dirty stuff up day, organize and relax. So ill def take some daytime pics 2morro

My coupe now sitting high in the front, looks horrible. I swapped the hood to the hatch also so thats the makeshift hood... a sheet (Thats a friends maxima)

Hatch sitting low in the front woot!

COils installed

also now 4 sale a scuffed chuki bumper with an se lip and only 1 chuki extender cover thingy for the fender on the driver side. 50 bucks come pick it up! Grille's are there as well as the bumper lights.

2morro night when i come home ill finish swapping the coils and then begins the dash swap i guess...

So today ended up turning into a work day despite the fact i didnt want to. As i said earlier this page i had traded one of my sparco speed seats for a leather s14 seat without sliders. Well since i went to put my chuki front and driver fender in storage i went to take my other sparco seat out and switch it to the driver side rail. Which lead to me trying to swap my passenger s13 slider to the s14 seat. I learned the hard way this cannot be done The seats may be able to mount at the same positions but the slider mechanism is not the same!!! So im going to have to use my custom seat mount under the s14 seat and hope it dosent sit too high.

Here are some pics

The leather seat and my sparco

Now these are the damage pics done to the rad support from the kid running under a wrx. Hopefully 2morro ill be pulling that out with the help of a fellow nico member, and then starts the silvia conversion.

More later as i have to go to work now. Ill be finishing off the suspension swap.

Good job bro. The damage is not really all that bad. I too had some fun with my 240, cutting, welding, grinding, and so on. Damn rust, damn it to hell! Tomorow will be another action/rust packed day for me

Wooo im tired dirty and sleepy. Day 3 of this project and i now have a sil-forty!!!! Finished the whole front end just now, its gonna need major alignment the passenger side of course, everything doesnt line up exact from the bent rad support. The bodyman should take care of that once its in the shop.

Only three more pics from the night ill take day shots of the complete front on 2morro if its not raining. Note to those doing a silvia conversion put the headlight brackets on first b4 u put the front bumper on It'll make your life easier.

Rad support somewhat bent back into shape as of oposed to earlier photos

Nothing special just the fenders and hood on

Again ill have the pics of the complete front 2morro i have to get my gtr grille from storage, im leaving the lip off however for the winter... its already cracked as it is.

Also 2morro fellow nico member young240sx is gonna come help me do my dash swap and rear coils swap if its not raining though. Only things left to do after that is clean up the interior and fit the s14 seat in with the sparco.

And you know this mannnn!!!!! lol thanks for your help today And stop drinking all the water from my brita, tap for your a** next time lmao K ill do purp on the 501's u do green on yours.

*update time*SOoo im like ahead of schedule which is good, but now i have to wait for my superbrightled purchase for my hud cluster to come in the mail b4 i do the cluster swap. Im thinking about just swapping the cluster and leaving out the hud im afraid to ruin such a clean dash..... wat do you think?

Besides all that got the suspension all swapped and done today, just gotta put on my cheap strutbars ( shutup Mr. Gtspec!) and c-pillar bar. And also pics of the front which looks so horrible due to the fact the rad support got pushed back and bent down from the accident.

Everything is all "slammed" now. Def going lower when i get the 501's.

Young's car and mine

btw after i get the wheels and wash this pos, photoshoot with our cars in the hood Carlos!!!

Finally images of the front, everything is working, just gotta wire the fogs independent and buy some purple h3 bulbs.

Everything is all done 4 today b4 work, thanks for viewing. later im gonna fix my s14 leather and put the mudflaps on but that dosent warrant more pics.

How much do you want for the trunk badge

Sad to see the coupe go there's only so many out there i see hatches more than anything in the NY area, I say keep the HUD out you dont have the film on the window either so it wont reflect off of anything so i suppose just throw on the cluster alone.

You guys had a organized little Nico meet and didn't tell me =(

No fair

Damn you Carlos

ill take 60 for the badge i have to warn you it operates but not properly. Its something you have to see for yourself but mechanically its sound. And i have both keys they both turn and open the lock. And the hud still works even though there is no film. Out of both coupes i had with hud niether had the film but the hud always shined off the glass.

Right now i jsut took my carpet out the coupe im about to go do a write up as last night when i was lookin 4 info on carpet removal i found nothing, anywhere here, zilvia, 240sxforums... nowhere.

not true, the hud can indeed work with a regular windshield, but if its really bugging you you can always stick a small piece of tint there

100 percent legit. Bought it from a bomex dealer in westchest pa called exotic customs. They even had shipped the wrong lip first. they shipped the oem aero lip, then my lip which got stolen in the mail, then this 1 which i currently have. Theres not alot of them left either... idk if i wanna sell it or not which is why i said at the right price. I even got the blue bomex sticker

Just finished taking the carpet out the hatch and was amazed at the cleanliness of the floor. I decided not to put a carpet back, thats how clean it is. Im just gonna buy some floormats for now and in the near future spray bedliner down. Ill take pics 2morro i hate taking night pics with flash.

The car is just about coming to completion as far as swapping all my parts from the coupe. Gonna finish putting the interior back 2gether 2morro and see if i can get my s14 leather on the custom mount i had 4 the sparco (it has no rail).

Future plans include some xxr 501's which im probably gonna paint purple. As soon as i get those ill slam the car as low as possible and do a slight fender roll the ghetto way with a baseball bat. Also def a paintjob and bodywork, taillights whichever is going 4 the cheapest on ebay when im ready, yakima bike rack , and install my sound system. The main goal with this car is swapping a chevy 350 engine in which im going to begin after all above is completed. I already have a free engine to work with. Lookin to possibly purchase a used t56 or tko 5 speed.

carbed... for power im tryna keep it simple because its already going into a very light car i dont need much to make it move. im sure around 300 whp is enough for day to day and to reach 12's. I plan to throw a small dry shot (50-75) just for extra.

Nothing special to say 2morro im gonna start prepping my black car to take the single out. Im swapping it into my red hatch. The de in there is in horrible condition and just needs to be put to sleep.

Gonna label plugs and stuff to make puttin it back in and running easier. Doing it right here on the street too

Oh i ordered the wrong size bulbs for my cluster, i bought 9led bulbs which are too big to fit into the hole to go in. so i have to wait a little longer for the hud swap now cause i need to order proper lighting. Hopefully 2morro ill be able to take some pics of the hatch so you guys can see the interior current state and exterior.

First off i want to thank my mom for turning off the computer after i had 3 paragraphs ready to update this thread

Well, the black coupe is gone, stripped it to the bone. I actually left the motor in it. Instead of painting my hatch im going to proceed with the 350 build part of it. Starting with ensuring proper grip is there. In a couple of weeks im buying some 15 x 8 diamond racing steelie and MT 225 50 drag radials for the rear. Then couple more weeks a j30 diff shall b making its way under there. MY friend confirmed with me today he has a 350 w/ heads for me to take a trip to jersey to put together. Like i said all i need to find is a t56 preferably or a tk0 5 speed.

Finally stopped being lazy and took pics of the car in this crappy looking condition . The front looks so bad from the kid bending the rad support under a subie, but ill get tht done sooner or later. I just actually ordered some dmax crystal silvia corners from mynismo.com so woot i guess.

Waiting on some brand new splash guards for the fender so i didnt put those flaps on yet, though i lost one for the passenger side

Disgusting ugly bent 20 inch exhaust tip with a hole in the muffler. Sounds smh.. words cant describe. Carlos u need to send me that vid so i can host it here lol. (never letting go of the german plate )

I need to tuck up the headlight wiring thats hanging on the driver side and ziptie it just been lazy and im gonna put the airhorn in that section behind the bumper so ill sort that all out when i get to it. Alot of space there with the stock airbox removed.

Finally the interior did some work in here but def not done yet. Still have my digital display to put in, i went and ordered a set up bulbs too big to fit the cluster so have to buy a new set again The floor looks very clean when i pulled the carpet. I plan to probably spray bedliner on it in the future but for now im just gonna buy some dmax checkered floormats and call it a day.

Im actually gonna shave the nipple off that belt buckle throw some double sided tape on the back and make it my nissan emblem for the rear between the reverse lights when i get those crystal red/clear tails

And last but not least my new s14 leather i traded a sparco 4 i need to get a bracket welded to it to bolt to the mount. it came with no slider.
