RB's look great on coupes, as well as hatches. It's what I have now, I'm getting the P45R's next go around however.

Got my gtr grill, and for now thats the end for exterior bodywise minus the silvia wing i aint put on yet. I am now re-doing the interior all the panels new boots and such, ill post pics of the work when its done.

Bad news at the moment though i cant register my car, the title is rebuilt in the state i bought it from and nys wants me to have it re-inspected. That could take up 2 month to process and thats not even saying ill pass the inspection so we'll c

with that front end you wont. you'll have to put your pop ups back on. As far as i know because the lenses are glass and the whole front end sits to low, the government wouldn't allow it. good luck

btw i think your car would be cleaner without the lip

it all depends of the individual laws of the state he needs to get the inspection done in. I passed my reconstruction inspection in PA with an sr.

Good luck with getting your car inspected. I bought a 94 Honda civic hatchback that was abandoned for basically tow fees and taxes. I spent a couple hundred dollars getting it roadworthy for inspection. When inspection time came the statie that was doing it was an a**. Needless to say it was a long process where I had to return several times and wait nearly a month. It was a lot of hassle for $200 of profit on the car. Your car looks great though, keep up the good work!

As far as the requirements for my inspection about headlights they only care that the headlights work not what its made of. I might raise the car b4 i go in for the inspection though. That front lip hides alot of damage done to the front bumper, and since a paint job isnt in my near future its better off there at the moment lol.

im only saying it cuz a "diy paint job" is anything from rattle canning, to a roll on job, to someone who used their own compressor and spray gun. and clearly many paint jobs that fall under any of those categories turn out very well

2 cellphone shots of the interior partly done. I might also remove the brake boot it dosent look right to me. The door's still have to be done, ill be fabric painting my back seats black so the grey dosent clash with the rest of the inside. Things to buy are a nardi wheel, silvia floor mats, some pedals and paint over the radio bezel.

Car looks great man. Considering your circumstances, aka not really having a garage I take it, great job so far. GL with teh inspection.

Motor swaps in the future? Sadly I don't really dig the purple lol. too pastel for me.

Cool project man looks authentic. Are you thinking about painting it yourself? Brick headlights look sick, not a fan of the yellow film but its unique . Just wondering how long did it take to install silvia front end?
