2/13/09 v-day update

Got to put on only my 2 front coils, and 2 rear mudflaps today, b4 my back decided to give out. Still cant move much and it still hurts. I didnt get my seats installed, the machinist said 2morro, so we'll c how that works out.

I barely dropped it. I tried to put it at stock height because i didnt get to install the rears, but it still came out low. I cant drop it anymore, i need to get my 5lug and 17's to take up some gap. It scraped the driveway coming out and scrape + fiberglass dosent work.

in the mean time i would just rattle can the lip. for some reason it looks awful to me, but the fact that its white on a black car might have something to do with it

ill paint the lip next week couldnt get enough time left today b4 i have to drive back to pa for this STUPID AZZ school. Only got my seats installed today, they sit higher than stock which is nothing to complain about, and i have more leg room (less knee cramps), but if i go over the wrong bump at the wrong speed passengers head will hit the headliner. The pics im about to post are from sat. and today. Ill get more next weekend, ill be installing my front and rear strutbars, alarm, airhorns, and h.i.d's along with painting the lip and sides.

k got a little update i misplaced my camera and was too busy last week to post anything. Got in the mail this week my front and rear strutbars from phase2motortrend.com's deal they had going idk if its still on 2 strutsbars for 60. They are pilot motorsports (idk who they r) Also i got my replacement rear coil that i had to pay for, didnt get reinbursted (sp?) for that yet from fedex. Pretty much since last week painted my lip and got some security installed. 2morro im gonna get my 4300k hids installed. Here are some pics ejnoy. Btw the car is dirty i havent washed it since i bought it.

The all red coil is the 1 they sent me. Its dampening adjustable unlike the 1's i originally purchased. No directions, no markings on them nothing but i cant complain you get what you pay for. Ill be hoping to write a review sometime later on about them cause ppl usually have their opinions about godspeed coilovers. So far so good cant complain.

no they were crap and they are gone.

Btw next plans i guess are to get a gtr grille and some nice aftermarket wheels. 17 x 8.5/9's or 16 x 8/ or 8.5's.

i knew he was sending tht coil he told me b4 he shipped it. Dosent matter to me. It was just so no1 asked why do u have two diff kind coilovers... ya kno?

the bottom peice is not screwed on, thts y it hangs, but perhaps i do have fastback mudflaps... They're only ziptied on for now.

lol its just that 1 tire on the front thats bald. But new wheels soon regardless, they were only temporary cause my friend needed his 18's back.

Fl tag because it is not registered yet and its not my primary source of transportation its parked up during the week, im in pa in school. I only come home on the weekends and do my little work here and there.

* Ran into a slight problem with the coils last night, nothin major though and no1 is to blame but me. The top bolt on the coil wasnt tightened all the way and came loose and started knocking at every bump i went over, after a bit of harsh highway pavement. Just a note to those who install their own coils... go ever every bolt to make sure its all good I took it for granted it was shipped tight and ready to go, even though it was just not enough and came loose under alot of movement*

i was looking at them the other day but then i saw a subie in my area with them and i was like yea im not tryna have the same wheels as him. Anyone know what i can use to sand off/ get rid of the left over putty/bondo from the sideskirts and rear valences i took off? I wanna paint them this weekend so it can look halfway decent. heres the closest pic i have.
