how many miles did your halfcut have?

Jarco is telling me that it will have 40,000 - 70,000 miles. That's a lot.

They will sell me the S13 halfcut with the rear diff and fuel pump for $2,985.00 plus $500 for freight.

Now, the diff is 300 alone, so its seems like a good deal to me. Plus the only thing that is NOT garaunteed according to their site is the body panels because of shipping, but if they are good, then I can do a silvia front end also!

What do you think is the better value?

hey sounds like a deal to me i got almost the same price the milage is not too high at least you know how much you got on the engine + all the parts u get with your clip is worth money i am planning on selling most of the stuff on ebay after i am done with the clip the panels will not be the best looking panels but you will have panels maybe you can give it a little work and do a silvia front end too

i got a silvia front too its more specialy the headlights ;)

keep the manifold and just reweld all the joints. You can strengthen it and it will be ok, better than waiting for a new one.

BTW- I did this to mine

I thought that if you have a Down pipe, there is no need for a test pipe, or vise versa...I thought I read it somewhere. Weird. Oh, also, did you have an alarm on the list? Unless you take SR20DET240 advice, put a sticker on your car that says ... Dont' try to steal my car, because bullets hurt.

A reply to several people: There are shops in Harrisburg PA doing the swap for between 1k and 1200.

Cant speak for NJ, but most of PA is too poor to put salt down, we only break that out in the REAL bad weather, I have only had minor problems with rust on the cars I have owned. The worst of it is (mild) fenderwell rust on an '89 Camry.

speaking of manifolds...kmd makes a very nice manifold. its what i'm running in my car. its very strong (we had to cut of a weld for the flange to weld a t3 on there) VERY STRONG. i would recommend them to anyone. its stainless (plus its only about $550) they should charge more, but we won't tell him that). talk to henry, he's a cool guy. http://www.kmdracing.com

p.s. the manifold was dyno-proven to put down 23rwhp on a stock sr20det.~Scott

A down pipe attaches to the turbo and goes to the cat. The test pipe replaces the cat, for when you are dyno testing the car. ;)

A piece of pipe that bolts on in place of the catalytic converter. It's called a test pipe because in theory, it's only supposed to be on there when you're dyno testing (ie. not driving on the public roads).

ummmmmmmm.....silviagirl, search google for kmd manifolds, sr20det. something should come up. whoever said "get an hpi manifold" is about nuts. HPI is not a KMD manifold. OBX makes HPI. ewwww...talkin about cracks.

i'm talking experience...around 400whp and not cracking.

Thanks I'll definetly look into that manifold when I get my turbo upgrade. What type of turbo are you running? I remember you IMed me when you first got the turbo cuz you were soo happy ;)
