I'm sure a cavalier would attain terminal velocity if you pushed it out of a plane. Other than that it is like a neon with out as much gay.

But his car looks like this!

AND, I hear he installed his calipers upside down, isn't that hysterical?

LULZ!

How does one install the calipers wrong? You can't possibly bleed them if they're not right side up!Ugh. Funny story I had a cavy. Feels like you're driving a boat around turns, but good highway soft suspension... Poor gas milage for a 4 cylinder also. 27-28mpg MAX, at least on the 3SPD! (WTF) Auto trans I had.

i think everyone has for got about the cobalt's and srt-4's. They were chevy and dodge's attempt to fix the ricer problem of all show and no go. Still slow for any boosted Nissan but impressive, anyone heard that chevy closed down there chevy racing program so no cobalts anymore or ss models

Dude, I've heard that the new Cobalt SS ditched the supercharger and instead has some kind of badass, new turbo system. Apparently, you can keep your foot on the throttle while shifting gears so the car never loses boost...

I heard about that and was like

i must admit that my fist car was a 2001 cavalier and i dropped about $2,000 into it. it would spank civic, accords, del sol, misc cars all day, even run on 240's and i even tried a evo got my a** handed to me but basically i realized that the cavy just couldnt go anywhere in the direction that i wanted and that was why:

I got a real car with real potential and a real following. which is why i got my 240.

i must admit that the cavy was a lot of fun while it lasted.

I love my 240

I used to have a 2001 Cavalier z24 that I built a custom turbo setup for. It was great blowing by people who shrugged it off as an ordinary cavalier and many of the locals raved about it at the meets. It was a pretty good sleeper and put many locals to shame and even some local shops cars and mine only had about 2k (bought the car at 15 and no mommy and daddy didn't chip in a dime for any of it) in it at max. Basically I get bored very fast once I finish a project and I went on to sell it. Point of the story is anything out there can be fast, you just got to spend the time and money to make it fast. Other than that this thread is worthless....LOL

so yeah dumb topic and question. anything can be made fast.. and as for cavaliers being fast or not in comparison: my mom has a GT sunfire (2.4) same motor as the z24's and its 5 speed. That car would smoke my 240 easy. The quality in the ride and rigidity are definately loads better in the 240, but the any 240sx from the factory was by any means "fast'. And I would have to say the 3.1 cavaliers from the early 90's would take take stock 240's.

alot of people here think that if its not nissan, its not cool.

but i tell you, look at a sil80 with the bricks, and look at a 88 cav...bad example...

but i look at my 2 cars side by each and they are very similar
