Is it weird to have a GIANT crush on a teacher?

So one of my Professors is... a... bombshell! I know she is my teacher and all but I cant but help to have a heavy crush on her. Im 23 and she is only around 30, give or take a few. She has the cutest face ever, deliscous body, but even more she is down right sassy and has definant attutude, kinda lays down the law in class. She is sooo diabilically sexy. Btw she is not married and appears to not have a bf from what she says in class.

I think it would be weird if I was in like 8th grade or something and was serious asking a hot teacher out, but college is different, and the age difference is not as major as if I was a teenager. I mean it does happen, but usually 50yo men getting with 21yo sophmores (bastards!).

So I guess the question here is would it be weird to drop off a Valentine's Day card in her mailbox on the sneak tip? Let me say this too, it does NOT have hearts all over it or 'I love u' in, on , or anywhere around any of it. It simply says on the cover on a chalk board 'Hey Teacher!', and inside it says 'Hope You Have an A+ Valentine's Day'. Corny I know but pretty neutral right, with a slight tip of mystery to it? My name will not be on it nor a secret message in newspaper clippings or anything Nala status. Maybe towards the end of the semester or during summer I will say something like "so did you have a grade A V-Day?", just to see what she says.

And while we are on the subject I would just like to know where all the teachers were in my High School that took their students to their beds???

I don't think it's weird that you have a crush on her; what's weird is the stalker approach. Wait til the semester is over and your grades have cleared then ask her out. If she says no, it has no bearing on your grade and no PC line has been crossed.

hahaha thats what I mean. Im not trying to be a stalker about it, so how do I get that idea across? I think the card is acceptable. I think it would be weird if I hinted now rather than at the end of the semester, being akward in class and all, especially if she said hell no! with a slap to go with it.

Wait until the end of the semester.
If you're going to give her the card, actually hand it to her, that would be less creepy than leaving it in her mailbox.

You will have to walk a very fine line if you want to pull it off.

I'd probably set up a teacher/student meeting to introduce myself. Make up some bs reason on needing to clarify something discussed in class. Make an impression & then go for it after the semester ends...
