Alright well first off my names Kael from Winnipeg, Manitoba, i purchased a 1990 Nissan Fairlady in June 05 from a good friend of mine who imports JDM vehicles. It came with 109,xxx km's in amazing condition.

Some shots after her first full detail (took 9 hours)

It came with a few mods such as H&R lowering springs, 17" BBS 3 piece wheels, Nismo shift nob, Nismo steering wheel, AB Flug full cat-back, Pop charger, Stillen Front bumper and sideskirts(at least that's what i've matched them to be, correct me if i'm wrong), HKS dual stage boost controller and turbo timer.

So i had some fun with it for a few months, took it to the track and ran a 13.77@101MPH with a 2.1 60ft (pretty respectable for a rather stock car) and this was on stock boost as far as i knew since the boost controller was never hooked up correctly and later removed all together since the ecu was stock.

Then i started my new job and the mods started flowing. Alpine type r components, alpine 4channel digital amp, Sony 7" widescreen on the dash with a pioneer dvd/mp3/cd player in the lower din. Then it needed some security so i decided to go with a Loaded Avanguard system, threw in some relays to control the windows, turn the stereo on, and a few other things all by remote.

OK, it was a blast until.... i lost to 3 turbo civics, and pretty badly i might add.Now for some power! Took the car to a friend's place who's dad is a master welder and has done some amazing work on cars in the past. Went there to get a FMIC put on...and well... things got a little crazy....

Here's a few pics....

Doesn't quite look like what you would expect to see under the hood of a 300zx does it.

So at this point i was flat broke and needed to re-group for 6 months to decide where i wanted to go next, did a little work on the car at home cleaning parts up

well after leaving home in April 06 it was off to Walls Rod and Custom, home of the 1900WHP Twin Turbo 76 Camero running 7.16 in the 1/4 (street trim).

Decided to go with FJO as a stand-alone to control the one-of-a-kind setup.

some pics from the shop. (taken by my phone, forgot the camera :P)

The work is almost done, i've probably spent 100hours at the shop helping out the guys, since no one has really done a 300zx quite like this before.

but it's getting late here in freezing winnipeg so i'll leave you guys with the mod list. Feel free to comment, and i'll do a little writeup as to how everything will hopefully work.

Welcome to NICO!

That's an amazing looking Z32 you've got there. Quite a bit of custom work, time, and fabrication into that bad boy. Hats off to you. I'm definitely interested in seeing more pictures and info as it comes along.

Good to have you as a member

Damn, those pie-cut welds are amazing. Definately got some work into that thing.

I cant wait to see some dyno numbers on race gas. That thing is going to be a BEAST.

Somehow this looks familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it. My kind of work though.

I have a question with everything done to the car, why run AC Delco plugs in it and not something like NGK R's or Denso...etc? Just wondering.

I believe Denso or NGK platimuns are standard replaements, I am running Iridiums, I just got a wild hair, prolly just a waste of money

NGK's are the only way to go for the Z32. Run the colder NGK platinums.

I like this setup a lot. I've kinda been itching to do something similar, with a centrifugal supercharger for boost. How hard was the fab work for the intake piping? How did you split the intake for two throttle bodies? I can't tell where you did it from the pictures.

wow that's definitely awesome. i'm looking forward to updates on this one! and i'm 99% sure that's not a stillen front, unless it's really old and i've never seen it or something . since your FMIC is so huge, i think you should get the greddy front. so, you went to get a fmic installed and you ended up with a custom single turbo setup?! whoa haha.

Man that is awesome. Nice work!

I live in Saskatoon. If you are ever over here, let me know, I would love to see your Z in person. I doubt those pictures do it justice.

Also what is the make of that front fascia?

dammit! i saw 11-13, but didn't take note of the year, so i thought it was only a coupe months! now i feel stupid and disappointed because i'll probably never see and update on this awesome car.

P.S. i also noticed that he joined NICO in '06, and i wondered why it took so long for him to post this stuff. me...

3 Years and still goin, i'll bring you guys up to speed....

-It dyno'd 420whp and 391wtq on a mustang dyno (stock block/stock heads) @15psi

-ran 13.55@111MPH (clutch gave out in 3rd so i coasted part of the way) also a 2.1 60ft

-The motor finally gave out on me during a friendly race against a buddies r6 (blew cyl #6 rings)

-Called CZP and ordered a few goodies: -JWT VTC Springs -Ferrera Dual Heavy Duty Valve Springs w/ Titanium Retainers -Wiseco Coated Pistons 87.5mm -Eagle Connecting Rods -Engine Gasket Repair Kit Plus w/ Cometic Head Gaskets -New Nissan Oil/Water Pumps -New Nissan Bearings

-Rebuilt the motor, bored 20 over, 3 angle valve job, balanced and blueprinted

-Started to install the new motor and ordered some last minute goodies: -CZP 58mm Throttle bodies -SS Clutch line -Southbend Stage 5 DXD Clutch (good to 690tq) -RPS CYN-R-G Billet Aluminum Flywheel -CZP Chromoly Clutch Pivot Ball -Inland Empire 300zx Heavy Duty 1-piece Driveshaft -Brembo slotted 12.75inch Rotors in the front w/Hawk HPS pads -Brembo slotted stock rotors in the rear w/Hawk HPS pads -SS Brake lines F+R -Motul Racing Brake Fluid

So as of today the motor will is scheduled to be dropped in this saturday

*I think your right, i doubt it's a stillen front bumper, i'm not too sure if i'm gonna keep it or put a different one on this summer before she hits the paint booth (was keyed outside my house in september 08')

*Rims are 17" 3-piece BBS RS's in 8.5 and 9.5 (looking to sell actually)

*when i get a chance i'll take a picture of where the split is for the dual throttleboddies (it's right after the ic outlet leaving the intercooler behind the rad
